Kicker EB101

Overview

Our take on the Kicker EB101

Kicker's EB101 earbud headphones make a great addition to any portable audio player. These ultra-light earbuds deliver crisp, full sound, and sit just inside your ear canal to naturally block outside noise, so you can focus on your music. The rubber earbud sleeves come in three different sizes to give you a comfortable fit. You also get Kicker's Comply™ foam earbud sleeves — breathable foam that conforms to the shape of your ear canal — for reduced irritation and fatigue over long listening sessions. The straight Y-cord features a black woven cloth covering to reduce tangles, and terminates in a stereo mini plug.

I love these headphones. I don't beleive one needs to spend $300 on Beats to get great sound, and the Kicker EB101's prove it.

I bought these to replace a pair that had the left one stop working. I really like these, I got the last ones. before order: low stock after order: This item is no longer available to purchase. The kicker website has the EB102's with a name Valid I believe.

Pros: The braided cord super log cord

Cons: My previous pair stopped working in 2 years of purchase. I took very godd care of them.

Good set of earphones. Nice fit. Decent sound quality.

Pros: Quality. Appearance.

Cons: Not sure If I would pay as much money for them though. Could have a volume switch. Could be more durable

They came free with my kicker speaker order but they are not as clear and loud as the i-pod headphones.

Pros: Clear

Cons: Not as loud or as clear as the i-pod headset at the same volume level.

good sound quality, improved bass from standard ipod headphones, and were very comfortable, but were not very durable. earbud pads fall off easily when listening to music while lying down (e.g. listening while in bed, ear bud pads fall off when you roll over, not easy to find them, lost a few).In addition, the right earbud stopped working after 5 months of use. overall a decent value and good sound quality. i enjoyed using them, and they were very comfortable due to the different ear bud sizes that were offered. i assume i was somewhat unlucky with my pair in terms of the durability .

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

got these free with my kicker speaker order but the quality of these headphones are just as good as kicker speakers!! Great bass output, great look(cloth wires that never tangle) 3 silicone ear pieces and 1 foam set that mold to your ear which fits the best. The product is packaged very nicely and even comes with a leather Kicker case. Overall, great product. 1 con is that i wish they had included a volume rocker but I have an iPod Touch it isn't that big a deal.

I never figured that you could justify $40 for a set of earbuds, I was pleasantly proven wrong(although i got them free with my order). These things sound great and the bass response is unreal i've never heard any like them. The memory foam earpieces are comfortable as well and hold them in your ear great. They also just feel like they are made with a higher standard, with the woven fabric to keep the wire from twisting, and the kicker logo'd carying bag for them are just icing on the cake. I would highly recomend them to anyone wanting a great set of earbuds.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These earbuds are very well built, but lack good sound. The rubber earpieces don't fit well, there is also a pair of foam pieces which fit better. The cable is cloth and the earbuds are metal which is cool.
