Overview: The Leapfrog LF-30S system by Terk wirelessly transmits
audio/video sources to remote TVs, or audio only to remote receivers or powered
speakers throughout a home. They use the 2.4 GHz frequency band for transmission
for the clearest signal over long distances and eliminate the need for in-wall
or external wiring.
Connections: The transmitter may
be connected to any audio/video device with RCA audio/video outputs; there is no
coax input on the transmitter, so the device connected to the transmitter must
have RCA audio and/or composite video outputs. The receiver has RCA audio/video
outputs and a RF coaxial output, so it can send signals to any device with RCA
audio/video inputs or a RF coaxial input, such as a VCR, TV, camcorder or
audio/video receiver.
Adjustable Antennas: The antenna
on the receiver and transmitter can pivot and rotate. For best results, the
inside faces of the antennas should be facing each other and perpendicular to an
imaginary line drawn between the two units
Compatibility: This unit can be used whenever you need to transmit high
quality video and/or audio from devices such as DBS receivers, DVD players,
camcorders and CD players to a TV or audio receiver located in a remote location
of your home or business.
