Bring the SIRIUS experience home with the Terk SIR6 antenna. It maximizes the strength of the signal going to your SIRIUS dedicated home or plug-and-play radio (the indoor antennas that come with these components sometimes can't). You'll enjoy the programming you paid for in the comfort of your home.

Terk's all-weather antenna can be mounted on an exterior wall or roof with the supplied universal mounting bracket and hardware. The SIR6 comes with a 30-foot cable, detachable for easy cable routing during installation and hookup.

The SIR6 can be used with the Terk SIR-EXT50 50-foot indoor/outdoor extension cable for maximum flexibility in mounting.

Note: To receive the satellite radio signal, you must also have a SIRIUS radio and a subscription to SIRIUS.

Overview: The TERK SIR6 is the perfect high-performance antenna for your SIRIUS home receiver or Plug & Play system. The SIR6 outdoor satellite radio antenna is a low-profile, high-performance antenna designed specifically for SIRIUS Satellite Radio reception. The SIR6 has a universal mounting bracket that can be installed to a wall, roof, satellite dish, or mast. The antenna itself has a single SMA connector and the supplied RG-58 coaxial cable has an SMA connector on one end and an SMB connector on the other end.

Note: Because the antenna uses a single connection to transfer satellite and terrestrial Sirius signals, a splitter (item 209SIRSP) is required when connecting it to a system that has two antenna connections.

System Requirements: In addition to this SIRIUS satellite radio antenna, you must have a SIRIUS tuner and subscription to SIRIUS Satellite Radio to receive SIRIUS Radio programming.

I was pretty upset with my Sirius satellite radio home kit when I first tried it. No matter what I did I could only get a vey weak signal with the antenna that came with it. Instead of sending it back I decided to order the Terk SIR6 and hope for the best. I'm very glad I did. I now get a full strength signal all the time. This antenna is definetly worth the money.

This outdoor mount gives me 3 out of 3 bars 99% of the time! It can be mounted either on a mast pole or a flat surface like on the facia of the end gable of your roof. It is also very adjustable to any mounting situation. The cable is long and thin but still yeilds good levels! A 1/4" hole gets it into the house with the SMB connector. Nice bag of stainless steel hardware covers all the mounting needs. Looks cool too mounted on the house!

This unit increased my signal strength temendously over the standard antenna. I used to get signal fade, but now I keep a full signal all the time. It is mostly plastic and light weight, so it will mount just about anywhere. It could be made out of better materials, but it should still outlast your radio.

I tried everything to get my Sportster boombox to work in my apt. I have overhangs outside the window so I couldn't get a signal. I ordered this and attached it to a pipe, putting it into the ground and whalaaaa...perfect sound.
This is a must for anyone with difficulty getting sound.
I couldn't be a happier...first time customer...thanks Mike for referring me.

I could not get any reception with the antenna included
with my sportster boombox. I listen mostly at home
and I was really looking forward to Sirius. I bought
the Terk Antenna and my Son installed it on the facia
of my home in only ten minutes. It is great, the
radio goes on within 10 seconds and is clear. I
couldn't be happier with this product and I highly
recommend it to anyone who has a problem with reception.

It works as advertised ! Signal strength = 10 ...!
It's very easy to install. I put mine on the roof facia. Instructions are clear and concise.

If your folding antenna is giving you SID's (Sudden Ionispheric Disturbances ...chuckle) then buy an SIR6 and stop the "crazies" from signal drop outs and enjoy 100% SIRIUS music ...

Great Antenna Option for Home Satellite Radio

I installed this antenna with the DBS/Sirius Combiner/Splitter (see my review) and couldn't be happier with the reception I am getting. Simple installation in about 15 minutes on my patio cover and I now get a full signal 100% of the time on my Sirius H550 home unit.

Simple installation and great reception...I highly recommend this product for your home satellite radio set up.

Great antenna

I didn't hesitate to get this with my Sirius H550. I've never had anything but consistent crystal clear reception. Just drilled a big hole in the wall (side of my house), pushed the wire through with a hanger, dragged it up to the peak of my roof, drilled in the four screws and forgot about it. If what came out of the box isn't working for you, spend the $80 and forget about it.
