About the Terk XMicro2

Terk's ultra-compact XMicro2 XM Satellite Radio antenna gives you all the performance you need with a profile so low, it's hardly noticeable. It mounts to your vehicle's roof with its magnetic base, and its rubberized feet keep it from scratching your paint.

Features

Overview: The Terk XMicro2 antenna is a high-performance magnetic-mount antenna designed specifically for XM Satellite Radio reception. It receives signals from satellites and terrestrial repeaters simultaneously, to ensure continuous reception.

Note: In addition to the antenna, you must have an XM Satellite Radio tuner and a subscription to XM Radio in order to receive satellite radio programming.

Cables: The attached 23-foot micro cable can be routed around window moldings and through access holes more easily than conventional size cables. The micro cable is terminated with a color-coded FAKRA connector.

Note: To connect this single-lead XM antenna to an older dual-input XM tuner, you'll need Terk's XM-SP adapter, or the American International XM-1DAS adapter. You cannot use these adapters to connect a dual-lead antenna to a single-input tuner.

Mounting: The antenna has an ultra strong magnetic base with rubber feet. This ensures years of worry free use, yet allows easy removal.

Right Angle Connector: Comes with a right angle elbow connector that connects to the XM tuner.

Customer Q&A

Q
Will this work with a 2016 Ford Mustang Sirius radio with Sync 3?
terry r  Jul 12, 2016
1 answer
A
The Terk XMicro2 offers a standard "SMB" plug for connection to aftermarket SirusXM tuners. Factory SiriusXM tuners use proprietary connectors for their antennas so, if you need a replacement SiriusXM antenna for your factory tuner, you may need to get the part directly from Ford. I have a 2016 Chrysler 200 that does not have xm, and Im upgrading to a factory radio that is xm ready, and I just need the antenna. Will this work?

Maybe .. maybe not.If your new car has a shark fin on the roof you might not need it. The factory radio doesn't have the same connection. ( I believe)

Hi Jason I'm not 100% sure to be honest, but I don't see why not. I had loads of questions before and after I bought my radio and Crutchfield customer service were superb

Q
will this work with the sirius onyx ez ?
craig  Apr 26, 2016
1 answer
A
It will connect to the vehicle docking cradle that comes with the Onyx EZ (assuming you got the one that came with the vehicle accessory package). If you do not have the vehicle docking cradle, you'll want to get the Vehicle Accessory Kit which comes with the cradle, mounting bracket, antenna, power cord, and an audio cable: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_220SXDV3/SiriusXM-SXDV3-Car-Kit.html?tp=3230 I hope that helps! You will want to contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat to discuss compatibility with XM tuner. They will be able to pull up the tuner and see if this will integrate. If it does not, then they will also be able to discuss other options with you.

Will this work as a replacement for the antenna that comes with siriusxm sxv2001 tuner?

Yes it will, it plugs in right in the back of your unit. Just look for the pink colored connector on the back of your unit.

I believe that it will. I used it as a replacement for an antenna that the technician damaged while installing a SiriusXM Edge in my '62 Corvette and it worked just fine.
