About the Morel Hybrid Integra 602
Serious about sound quality
Morel's Integra design improves time-alignment by building the tweeter into the woofer cone
Serious about sound quality
One look at Morel's Hybrid Integra car speakers, and you can tell they're unlike other speakers in their class. Their unique design allows them to fit into more vehicles, and they offer superb sound quality with excellent power handling. Morel makes their Hybrid Integra speakers by hand and tests them to meet their exacting standards.
The innovation of Integra
Morel's Hybrid Integra 602 2-way car speaker uses a 1-1/8" dome tweeter that's recessed in the 6-1/2" woofer cone to reduce phase problems and improve imaging. This "point source" design ensures a wider dispersion of high frequencies, even when you're off-axis. The paper composite woofer cone gives you a strong, natural sound, while the soft dome silk tweeter is coated in Morel's one-of-a-kind Acuflex™ compound to enhance damping for cleaner highs. And the innovation doesn't stop there — External Voice Coil (EVC™) technology maximizes voice coil size in these speakers for better heat dispersion and efficient performance.
Crossover technology
External crossovers on a coaxial speaker? Yep, that's not just a component speaker luxury. The external Integra crossovers use hand-made components developed by Morel to deliver an ideal blend of the highs and lows for an incredible stereo image. Three levels of tweeter control let you dial in the sound to your car's environment.
Note: Morel describes this model as a 6-1/2" speaker. Most manufacturers designate this same frame size as a 6-3/4" speaker. For simplicity's sake we list it as a 6-3/4" speaker.

Features
Time Aligned Structure: The recessed tweeter is concentrically aligned with the woofer cone, so sound radiates from the same point for both. This minimizes phase error and allows the sound field to be constant in all directions, improving time alignment.
Size Classification Note: Some manufacturers, including Morel, call this size speaker a 6-1/2". Because it requires a larger cutout than a standard 6-1/2" speaker, Crutchfield has traditionally referred to this size woofer as a 6-3/4". Please enter your vehicle information to confirm fit.
Crossover: The outboard crossovers have screw terminal inputs and outputs (0.315" wide). The slope is 12 dB/octave and the crossover point is 2.2 kHz. A jumper inside each crossover allows you to adjust the tweeter output level; choose -2 dB, 0 dB, or +2 dB. Because the woofer and tweeter have separate inputs on the speakers, they can be bi-amped using an electronic crossover. (2.5 kHz is the lowest crossover point Morel recommends in this configuration.)
Crossover Dimensions:
- Width: 5.55"
- Height: 1.45"
- Depth: 4.17"
Speaker Terminals: The speaker terminals are male quick slide lugs:
- Woofer:
- Positive: 0.25"
- Negative: 0.25"
- Tweeter:

- Negative: 0.110"
