A distribution block acts as the "nerve center" of your amplifier installation — a single power wire runs from your battery to the block, with smaller wires branching off to your various components. It's a more efficient way to run your wiring, and it also makes it easier to troubleshoot problems.

The DBX44 power distribution block allows you to connect as many as four amplifiers to a single power source. The Power Ring input lets you connect any gauge wire from your battery to the block, and you can run up to four 4-gauge cables to your amplifiers. You'll also need to place in-line fuses between the distribution block and your amps.

Streetwires coats their solid brass distribution blocks with corrosion-resistant, Diamond Plate Nickel for outstanding current delivery and low power loss. Nickel-plated brass contacts promote maximum signal transfer, and a clear, impact-resistant cover protects your connections. You can also use this block to ground your multi-amp system. Warranty: lifetime.

Product Research

Overview: The StreetWires DBX44 is a single-input, 4-way power distribution block with four 4 gauge outputs. The StreetWires power blocks are machined from forged brass to give maximum current transfer and to resist harsh environments.

Design: The DBX44 has the following design features:

  • Input: The single input will accept up to 3 ring terminals, one straight on and two from either side. Ring terminals for wire gauges from 8 to 1/0 can be used. The single brass Allen-head bolt can be tightened/loosened using a 3/16" Allen wrench.
  • Output: There are 4 direct outputs for 4 gauge wires. The 4 set screws can be tightened/loosened using a 4mm Allen wrench.
  • Base/Cover: The distribution block is housed in a black polycarbonite base with a clear polycarbonite cover.

Grounding Block: This piece can also be used as a 4-way grounding block, allowing you to connect up to four 4-gauge ground wires to the block with a single ring terminal output of up to 1/0 gauge wire.
