Good wires, but pretty short. I bought it for my 4channel amp which I have under my passenger seat. Wish I bought a longer one just for some extra room.

Pros: No noise that I can hear.

Cons: Pricey for the length.

The StreetWires Zero Noise 5 Stereo Patch Cables (2) that I purchased to complete my installation of the Alpine KTP-445U Power Pack, which I installed between the Pioneer receiver and the Polk speakers, have proved to be what their name claims "Zero Noise." And in an auto environment, that's saying something. I'm glad I chose to purchase and use these rather than use standard RCA cables I already had on hand.

Pros: Accomplishes what they claim.

Cons: None

Zero Noise

Written by: Rick A. from New Berlin, NY on May 27, 2013

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I ran these past other wiring in the dash, past the small power to my small amp. Zero electrical interference. The music is crystal clear! I bought the 3.3 foot lengths. I still had about a foot or so more than what I needed, but it's way better than having 13 or 14 feet extra. I needed short RCAs and these really fit the bill and worked great. I would definitely recommend these for sound quality, looks, and sound quality.

Pros: Sound Quality, Length choices, Looks and feel.

Cons: None

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These cables are great! They were very easy to run being so flexible. The connectors are the best I've seen on a set of RCA's. They attach firmly which makes a good connection & no static noise from vibration on rough roads like cheaper wire ends. They come in different lengths for just about any amp install location.

Pros: Quality noiseless cables with great connectors

Cons: A little pricy .... but definitely worth it !!!

Don't waste your money on the 7's or 9's

Written by: Doug from Lodi Ohio on May 31, 2009

These cables work great, Zero noise just like it says. Don't waste your money on the 7 or 9 series. I'm putting out 850 watts RMS in my system & no noise at all. Although I will say, choose your cables paths wisely. Just a reminder, keep your amp power wires & your preout cables as far apart as possible. Don't get lazy here, even if it means extra installation time. You spent the money, let it pay you back. P.S. Always ground your amp as close to the amp as possible

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Installed in a 2000 Civic EX Coupe. Replaced a set of StreetWires RCA cables from 1999 when I moved the system from my old Prelude into the Civic. Cables are attractive, provide significantly better throughput than the old cables (I had to turn down the gain on my amp significantly) and fit tightly on the connectors. Thinness of the cables made them very easy to route through the console and under the carpet. Haven't detected any engine noise in the sound. Recommended.

Nice Cables

Written by: WAYNE from Tucson, AZ on August 7, 2008

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I thought, why review cables? Well, the Street Wires ZN5 RCA cables *are* nice. The insulation is supple and easy to route. One strand is blue and the other clear so the twisted pair looks like a Smurf candy cane. The outer connectors grip solidly as you would expect, but in addition the center pin is split so that it fits snugly too. These are a big step up from those old grey vinyl coated RCAs. I went with the ZN5s because I would have hated to have to uninstall a cheap cable that got noisy over time only to replace it with a better cable that I could have installed in the first place. A nice cable with tangible advantages for only a little more money.

This product has worked just fine for me so far. I would like to give Street Wire a big "Thank You" for the packaging of the material. The package is perforated so that getting through the thin plastic package is simple and easy. Usually I have to cut into this type of packaging with a knife then tear at the packaging until I cut myself and get the product out. Good patch cable.
