Because they're less expensive and less susceptible to interference than RCA-type patch cords, RG-6 coaxial cables are ideal for making line-level connections between components in multi-room installations. But how do you connect the RG-6 cable's F-type connector to your RCA-compatible audio or video component? This gold-plated adapter lets you easily convert a male F-type jack to RCA, for connection to your compatible component.

Use one adapter for each connection; for example, if you're running stereo audio, you'll need two adapters — one for each channel. Likewise, a video connection will require its own adapter. Limited lifetime warranty.

Product Research

General Overview: This connector allows you to run line-level audio or composite video signals in-wall over a long distance, using RG-6 cable. After crimping a male F connector to the RG-6 cable, you can then use this adapter for your RCA connection.

Warranty: There is a limited lifetime warranty on the connector, however, physical damage is not covered.
