We offer vehicle-specific interfaces that you'll need to complete your remote start installation. Please identify your vehicle as we review every order to make sure you've got everything you need. You'll need a smartphone and a remote start system in your car in order to use the Audiovox Car Link interface.
You probably use your smartphone for lots of different things — now you can use it to control your car security system. Audiovox's Car Link system communicates with your compatible Code Alarm, Prestige, or Pursuit remote start system through the 3G cellular network and Wi-Fi. When you've got service, your smartphone can take command.
Control your car from virtually anywhere
Car Link provides two-way communication between your vehicle and your smartphone. Using your Car Link app, you can start your vehicle, lock or unlock your doors, or pop the trunk from virtually anywhere. And you'll receive confirmation that the command was successfully executed.
In addition, you will be alerted whenever any zones have been violated on your vehicle. Visual alerts will be sent to your phone, but you can enable sounds and vibrations too.
Imagine the possibilities
Warm up the car at a cold airport parking lot when your flight gets in. Or take your iPhone® along on a run, while you leave your keys and other valuables locked in your car. And the car finder feature will help you find your vehicle in a large garage or parking lot by honking the horn and flashing the lights.
You're not limited to one brand of smartphone with Car Link — it's compatible with most versions of the iPhone®, along with BlackBerry and Android smartphones.
More than one car? More than one phone?
The Car Link app lets you control multiple vehicles from your phone, as long as each vehicle has a Car Link module installed. You can also control your vehicle with more than one smartphone — the vehicle's user name and password can be used from any phone with the Car Link app. In fact, you don't even need a smartphone. You can control your vehicle by logging into your account on the Car Link homepage from any web browser.
What's the fine print?
Car Link does require a service plan, but you'll get unlimited daily use of the system free for the first year. Charges will apply after the first year, currently $29.95 per year. Don't forget that you can incur data charges with your phone data plan, so be sure to keep track of usage.

Audiovox Car Link Reviews
Average Customer Review:
this the worst product i have ever owned i mean you can start your car but cat turn it off and for the price you would think they would've had that covered but no hard feelings i will be having it taken out as soon as the weather break the car is stored during the winter.
Pros: it will start the car
Cons: other than that it useless

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
Works great! Easy to install. Crutchfield tech did all the programing over the phone. I work in a basement of a mall and i can start my car with walking out side.
Pros: Easy to instal starts car and lock doors from anywhere.
needs a little help
first off let me say this does work. my only problem is they need to update the app to have a start button and a stop button (like the lock button and unlock button) it would be nice to know what you have done when you push the button. if you are away from the car and are messing with the app on your phone or computer you dont know if you started or stopped the car and it would just have to run until it timed out (what a waste) or it wont be warmed up in the winter. if it had a stop button you could push stop first to reset back and then start fresh from there. for the price of this kit this is a no-brainer.
Pros: everything but 1 thing
Cons: dont know if its running or not.
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
Installed myself works great still a bit pricey but make shure you by it from crutcfieds they have the best tech support
Pros: Crutchfields best tech support great ordering staff
Cons: Haven't found one yet
Carlink is a great addition to any remote start. I added this product to an Audiovox Pursuit Pro9276C that I installed about a year ago. The installation requires power and ground, and then plugs into the telematic port of an Audiovox remote start unit. I had it installed in about 20 minutes. Once activated (I have an Audiovox dealer logon, which anyone can apply for...), this remote starts, locks and unlocks the car--it also provides 2-way feedback to let you know the car started. There is also a carfinder that flashes the lights (horn also sounds on Code Alarm units as well). I have had the unit for about 4 months, and have never had an issue with service area. You can also log into your carlink account on the internet to preform the same functions. This is a reliable and easy to install unit, truely a 5 out of 5.

Since Car Link does not monitor the usage of the Car Link system, excessive use could result in the need for a higher level data plan from your phone carrier.
