Features
Overview: The Audiovox D1210
consists of a 12" LCD
video monitor with a built-in, top-loading DVD player and TV tuner. The
supplied mounting bag, cigarette lighter adapter, and headphones let you use the
D1210 in your vehicle. To
watch the D1210 indoors, simply plug it into the wall, attach the removable
feet, fold out the rear support, and set it on any flat surface. The external
speakers provide the sound. If you want to watch TV, simply connect an antenna
to the antenna input.
12" LCD Video Monitor:
The 12" LCD video monitor has a resolution of 800 x 600, with a 90-degree
horizontal viewing angle and a 40-degree vertical viewing angle.
TV Tuner: The built-in TV tuner
allows you to receive over-the-air broadcasts when an antenna is connected to
the D1210.
DVD Player: The D1210 has a built-in,
top-loading DVD player that can play the following discs: DVDs, Video CDs, audio
CDs, and MP3 discs.
Fast Scan: The disc can be
scanned in either direction at 2x, 4x, 8x, or 16x normal speed.
Slow Motion: When playing a
DVD, you can choose one of the following slow motion speeds in either direction:
1/2, 1/4, 1/8, or 1/16 normal speed. When playing a Video CD, you can choose
from the same slow motion speeds in the forward direction only.
Repeat Playback: When playing a
DVD, you can repeat the current chapter, current title, or entire disc. When
playing a Video CD or audio CD, you can repeat the current track or entire disc.
When playing an MP3 disc, you can repeat
the current track or current folder.
SRS WOW: This feature provides
fuller sound, and can be turned on or off using the button on the front panel of
the display.
Infrared Transmitter: The
D1210 features an infrared transmitter that sends audio to the supplied sets of
wireless headphones.
External Speakers: When
using the D1210 in your home, you can connect the detachable speakers for stereo
sound. The mounting bag does not allow you to use the speakers in your vehicle.
Note: Each speaker has flat
metal connectors that slide into the side of the D1210, providing all the
necessary connections. This design does not allow you to detach the speakers
and use them.
Picture Adjustment: You
can adjust the picture's contrast, brightness, tint, and color.
Power Supply: In your home, the
D1210 is powered by the supplied AC adapter, and in the vehicle, the D1210 is
powered by the supplied cigarette lighter adapter.
Mounting Bag: The supplied
mounting bag and mounting straps let you mount the D1210 to the back of a single
front seat, or in the space between both front seats. The top mounting straps
wrap around the headrests and the bottom mounting straps wrap around the seat
rails. Each strap attaches to the metal rings on the back of the mounting bag.
Padded Carrying Case: The
padded carrying case makes the entire system portable, allowing you to take the
D1210 and all its accessories anywhere.
