Features
Overview: The Code-Alarm DA-2 power door lock actuator can provide a power door lock to a door that has a manual lock. The DA-2 has a built-in slip clutch, so when used with the door lock cable bracket (item number 220CLBK, sold separately) it's also compatible with cable type factory door locks. The actuator responds to electrical signals from the alarm or keyless entry system and physically moves the vehicle's door locking rod to a locked or unlocked position. One DA-2 actuator will be needed for each door you want to control. If the alarm or keyless entry system you are installing does not have built-in door lock relays, you must add a door lock relay pack (item number 220DLRKP, sold separately) or two SPDT relays (item number 120E5000, sold separately).
Installation: The DA-2 should be installed behind the door panel in a location that won't inhibit window movement or door panel replacement.
