Overview: The Code-Alarm Trunk Release Solenoid (TKRS1) installs in your vehicle to help you unlock the trunk remotely. The TKRS1 is designed for use in vehicles without power trunk unlock mechanisms. The solenoid can interface with any security or remote start system with an Aux, or Trunk Release output (120E5000 relay will be required to trigger the solenoid remotely). It can also be used as a stand-alone remote trunk release, with the actuator switch located on the dash or in the glove compartment.
