MTX vehicle-specific unloaded enclosures preserve all the legroom in pickup trucks and all the cargo space in SUVs. Each enclosure is an acoustically-designed, non-resonant, airtight enclosure, with the correct internal volume to yield optimum bass response from a compatible subwoofer.

So what makes these enclosures different than a standard sub box? MTX designs each enclosure for optimum performance in your specific vehicle's acoustic space. Using state-of-the-art rotational molding techniques, and exotic high-density polyethylene, MTX creates a sculpted masterpiece of a sub box, beautifully finished to blend with your interior. And they sound as good as they look, delivering bass that's tight, accurate, hard-hitting, and way down low.

This enclosure comes without a speaker — you can install any small-box (Type 1) 10" subwoofer. The enclosure mounts on the driver's side in the rear hatch of the 1993-up Chevrolet Camaro and 1997-2002 Pontiac Firebird. Features

Vehicle-Specific Custom Enclosure: The enclosure mounts on the driver's side in rear hatch on a 1992-2003 Camaro, Firebird, Camaro RS, Z28, and Trans-Am. The enclosure is completely invisible when installed and does not interfere with T-Top storage (rear luggage cover is unaffected). This enclosure does not fit RT convertibles.

Enclosure Type: The enclosure features fiberglass construction and fits one 10" subwoofer.

This sealed box sits in my back hatch area made for this box. The box fits perfectly snug and there are no need for any screws or bolts put in mounting it down. Perfect nice fit in my 2002 SLP Camaro SS. Drop a 10" sub in it and use all screw holes (do not drill the holes in the box, make your own with force... Garunteed better air seal if you force the screws in yourself. also you will deffinatly want to use the rubber pad all around the edge and also deffinatly Pookie all around the edges before the sub is droped in and then it is kinda hard to make your own screw holes and takes a lot of force with a had screw drive, but is more than worth it to do so and take the extra time. I did all that and dropped an Infinity Perfect 10" sub in there and that is not the slightest air leak at all. Super Tight seal after all that is done and a big difference can heard with no air leaks, not even a very small one. so for all you audiophiles that get this box do that and you will be more than satisfied.!!
