MTX engineers evaluate the "sonic signatures" of top-selling vehicles so they can design ThunderForms as custom acoustic matches. With "rotational molding," MTX ensures that each ThunderForm fits and blends inconspicuously into your vehicle. They're made of high-density polyethylene resin to curb resonances and deliver bass that's tight, hard-hitting, and way down low. The enclosure is seamless and airtight, with the correct internal volume to yield optimum bass response from the subwoofers.

This molded MTX ThunderForm comes loaded with two premium-quality 10" Terminator subwoofers and mounts under the rear seat of 1994-01 Dodge Ram Extended Cab trucks and 1995-97 Dodge Laramie Extended Cab trucks, replacing the factory tool kit. There is no loss of leg room and the factory jack kit is relocated to a space molded into the center of the enclosure. Hardware is included. Vehicle-Specific Custom Enclosure: This MTX ThunderForm enclosure is specifically designed to fit select 1994-2001 Dodge Ram extended cab and quad cab pickups. Please refer to the Crutchfield Car Selector to confirm fit for your vehicle.

Enclosure: The ThunderForm enclosure is made of molded high-density polyethylene resin, which dampens resonance and is rigid enough to resist flexing. It is an acoustic suspension (sealed) chamber.

Mounting Location: This enclosure is designed to mount under the rear seat (it replaces the factory storage tray, if present). Depending on the model year, the jack may be relocated to a cavity molded into the ThunderForm. Note: The provided dimensions are taken at the widest points of the enclosure. Keep in mind that this enclosure is custom made to fit in this particular vehicle, so the enclosure will fit properly in only one specific location.

Woofers: The ThunderForm enclosure is loaded with two 8Ω, 10" MTX Terminator subwoofers. The subwoofers are wired in parallel to a single terminal, presenting a 4Ω load to your amplifier.

Is there an amp for this or a place to mount an amp?

One of our Advisors should be able to help you select a good amp for this, and discuss mounting. Ideally you will want something that puts out around 400 watts at 4-ohm (mono) for the subwoofers in this enclosure.
