The Thunder421D mono amplifier is all about bass. Bass frequencies require a lot of power, and this amp cranks out 210 watts RMS into a 4-ohm sub. Hook up a 2-ohm load, and the output doubles to 420 watts! To harness all that power, MTX builds in the low-frequency enhancement of ThunderEQ (0-18 dB boost at 40 Hz) and a razor-sharp 24 dB per octave low-pass crossover.
Heavy-duty, nickel-plated terminal block connectors help transfer as much current as possible into the amp. Intelligent Surface Mount Technology ensures greater operating stability and low noise levels. The MOSFET-fueled Adaptive Class D design produces major power from a small chassis, with minimal heat buildup. You get more volume with less distortion for deep, pounding bass, no matter how loud you like it.
