Greetings Kevin, and thank you for your question. The Crux PS RVC is a noise filter. If you are experiencing some electrical interference on your screen from your front camera. This should suppress that noise.

Christopher... There are is sufficient missing information in your query to make anything other than a guess as a response. This filter works for me for a back-up camera that gets it's B+ (12v) from the brake light circuit. It's not a problem if the engine is off -- but rather provided enough filtering to rid me of electrical static in the monitor for that back-up camera.... so if it's line filtering that you need --- this is a simple solution. Here's additional information we would need to help you: 1) when you say 'static' I assume that it's coming through the radio speakers when those LEDs are energized. If this happens only when the engine is running ... then the filter is a good bet to resolve the issue. If this happens without the engine running -- then the issue may be the car's / truck's electrical system (they are not all the same) may be reading the much lower current required by the LEDs as a circuit issue (blown lamp / open circuit, etc.) and that may have a resulting impact in your sound system...2.) you didn't mention what type of vehicle this is happening in --- which -- again -- if this is creating the static with the engine not running -- check with the manufacturer to see if you can integrate LEDs into your lighting system with out adding additional circuits to rid you of these issues. Hard to say.... I saw some improvement but it was not consistent. If I were you I'd go ahead and do it since it's relatively inexpensive and easy to install. Good luck.

Nope. It's the LED lights. I had to put a filter on my reverse lights to take away the static in my screen. They make specific filters to fix the"noise" created by LED light bulbs.
