Meter: There is a level meter in the right
part of the display window. The level meter may be
set to Audio 1, Audio 2, or Off. In Audio 1 mode, the meter gives a graphic
representation of the audio signal level. In Audio 2 mode, the meter alternates
between Audio 1 mode and illumination display. While making volume, balance and
fader adjustments, the meter gives a graphic representation of the setting.
Equalizer (C-EQ): This unit has six preset
tone control and loudness setting combinations that you may select. Each of the
sound modes may be adjusted to your preference and stored in memory. The preset
Custom Equalizer modes are:
Bass = +3, Treble = +1, Loudness = On
Bass = +1, Treble = -2, Loudness = Off
Bass = +4, Treble = +1, Loudness = Off

Bass = +2, Treble = +3, Loudness = Off

Standard and European Tuning
Spacing: The tuner allows you to select U.S. standard or European tuning
spacing. This feature is not discussed in the manual, but it is easily
accessible. To switch the tuning spacing, you simply press and hold the FM
button and preset #5 button simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds.
Track Access: You
can directly access CD tracks 1-12 by pressing the station preset buttons. If a
preset button is pressed for less than 1 second, the track corresponding to the
number on the preset button is selected (for tracks 1-6). When a preset button
is pressed for more than 1 second, the track corresponding to the number above
the preset button is accessed (for tracks 7-12).
Eject Prohibit: This
feature keeps the disc from ejecting even if the eject button is pushed. The
disc eject prohibit feature is engaged/disengaged by pressing the CD and
Attenuate buttons simultaneously for more than 2 seconds.
Display: While playing
a CD, you can switch between the clock display and the CD elapsed time display
(the track number always appears). While listening to the radio you can switch
between the clock display and the station frequency display. When you press the
Display button during power off, the unit will turn on, display the clock for 5
seconds, then shut off. This can be done with the ignition on or off.
Remote Control: The
unit is equipped with the RM-RK60 wireless remote control. The dimensions of the
remote are: L=3.63", W=1.414", D=0.348". This 9-button remote can
control the following functions:
