Features

Compatibility: The Canon LP-E8 rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery (7.2V/1120mAh/8.1Wh) is compatible with the Canon EOS T2i, T3i, T4i, and T5i digital SLR cameras.

No Memory Effect: This battery has no memory effect, so it may be charged after only partially discharged without creating memory problems.

Charging: This battery pack is not fully charged upon factory shipment and must be charged before using. To recharge this battery, use Canon's battery charger LC-E8 or LC-E8E.

Protective Cover: When storing the battery, attach the protective cover to prevent the electrical contacts from shorting.

Capacity: The LP-E8 charges in approximately 2 hours using the LC-E8E charger that comes with the cameras. A fully-charged LP-E8 is good for approximately 550 shots in the camera without using flash, and approximately 440 shots with 50% flash use. Battery life is shorter at colder temperatures (470 shots no flash, 400 shots with 50% flash).
