Canon SC-A70 Carring Case

Written By Daletek, Denver, Colorado on Saturday, February 11, 2012

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Hunting for the right camera carring case can be very troublesome. Because you can't actually take all you gear and physically place it in different bags to compare them to what you actually need, you risk geting too large or too small a case. What you desire is the perfect fit. I tooke a leap of faith and bought this for my purchase of the Canon VIXIA HF R20 video camera. If you're familar with this model and others like it in the same line, you know it is a small camera but comes with several cables and if you're like me, some other accessories. So, while it's still a small device you need room for it's tag alongs. I got extremely lucky. This case is like Dr. Who's police box. It appears small on the outside, but I swear, it has hidden extra space on the inside. I have been able to fit everything and some extras like two (count 'em friends) two desktop tripods that I purchased later. I even found room to store them in the bottom on one side with no problem. Reaching in an finding stuff is no problem either. It's not like Fibber Magee's closet where everything flies out because junk has been crammed together so much. NO comical explosion of stuff comes out when opened. Everything fits amazingly nice inside the case. So, I feel comfortable transporting my camera and everything that goes with it whereever I go. Compare the sizes of the different bags by their online pictures and you will notice that this case does not appear very large but it will surprise you.

Pros: Rugged as well as attractive even when loaded full up. Agood buy.

Cons: It has lots of zippers going everywhere. No big problem just a nusance until you get used to it.

Perferct Size

Written By Adriana A., Atlanta, GA on Thursday, October 13, 2011

When I received the case, it looked bigger than I thought it would be. However, once you put your camera and cables in it, you realize it is the right size. Realistically, the battery in many of the new camcorders doesn't last that long, so either you need to carry an extra battery and/or the charger... and since we now travel everywhere with our laptops, it makes perfect sense to have the cables to plug in your camcorder and watch or download your videos asap. The case is very light and built well. I take my camcorder to swimming pools all the time and I'm not afraid about some water splashing because I know the camera is protected inside my Canon carrying case. In addition, one side of the case has these really cool pockets where I put my money, credit cards, keys, and phone so I don't have to carry a purse.

Perfect Little Black Bag

Perfect size - for cam and extra battery - most cords - and two extra memory chips. Not a lot of extra room for non related camera stuff - but compact and sturdy. Well made and good deal.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Great little case for the Canon camcorder I purchased for my grandson. It holds everything you need. Extra battery, camcorder, etc. Just the right size and has a nice wide shoulder strap too.

Keep up the good work Crutchfield!
