Why replace your factory radio?
Two good reasons - sound quality and cool features. A new car stereo offers power that's superior to most factory radios, along with more sophisticated tone controls. And most car stereos offer built-in or optional features that add safety and fun to life in your car, including inputs for your iPod or MP3 player, Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free cell phone calls, satellite radio or HD Radio reception, and connections for building an audio system in your car.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
Ease of Use
Jeep 2014 Patriot. If you need the security of a removable face look no further. I wish I would have spent a bit more and got the next unit up with Bluetooth but this still makes sense. The install was easy but keep in mind this is a 2DIN unit and weights a good bit. The Crutchfield supplied plastic mounts are junk. First bump in the road the brackets snapped, get steel brackets if possible. I will scour the web to find better ones. The install is otherwise basic 5 wires. I'm using it to drive four 6x9s and it has plenty of power to thump. Also have a Kenwood ksc-11 powered sub connected to the low lvl outs. Provides sufficient buttons where using one button to duplicate several functions is not necessary. Nothing worse than than scrolling through the entire menu to adjust bass. Naka clearly spent time developing the user interface. It's intuitive and logical. The double loudness feature is interesting. Choose double bass, or Xtra bass or if that's not loud enough both! SD card and USB inputs work displaying song/artist info. USB 1.0 or 2.0 or 3.0 of course. I like the 2x din format. I love the sub-out feature as well as the level and cutoff accoutrement. The SW setting delivers smooth expansive bass below even the human hearing threshold. They didn't try to do too much with this unit. It's not packed with every feature in the world but makes good use of what is offered. If you want the security of a removable face plate go 4 it.
Pros: Removable face Powerful bass Clean fully customizable sound
Cons: Install brackets are a real bummer. El Cheapo brackets that won't last a day.

The unit supports playback & control of MP3/WMA music files loaded onto a compatible USB MSC device. USB portable devices that can be charged via USB will be charged when plugged into the CD receiver's USB port (max. 0.5A), and the vehicle's ignition switch is set to ACC or On. The head unit's USB port does not support the Apple iPod, iPhone, or iPad.
