Overview: The Small Foot Mount Installation Kit is designed specifically to mount the OnStar FMV to the windshield of compatible vehicles that use a small foot mounting system to secure the factory rearview mirror. The small foot mount installation kit consist of the following:

• Small foot mounting adapter
• Tube of 1-step glass primer
• Dual self-adhesive syringe
• 2 Alcohol prep-pads
• Installation Instructions

Cleaning & Prepping Windshield: Clean the inside windshield glass thoroughly with a razor blade to remove any old adhesive. Clean the inside windshield glass and the mounting surface of the mirror mounting base thoroughly with the provided alcohol wipes.

Installing Small Foot Mount Adapter: Slide the small foot mount adapter down onto the factory small foot mount on the windshield of  your vehicle. Ensure the adapter is seated all the way down onto the mount. Apply electrical tape along the sides and top of the mount adapter; use a flat-edged tool to make a tight seal between the tape and windshield to keep adhesive from squeezing out when injecting the adhesive.

Applying Adhesive: Using only the adhesive provided, insert the syringe into the fill holes at the top of the adapter and slowly depress the plunger. Cover the dashboard to avoid damage from drips. The adhesive starts to set within 5-10 minutes of applications. After 10 minutes, you can mount the OnStar FMV Mirror.
