Future-ready 3D technology
Samsung introduced 3D capability with some of last year's rear-projection models, but their "A450" plasmas are the world's first 3D-ready flat-panel TVs. To make it happen, you need an optional "3D kit" — an IR emitter and special viewing glasses. It includes two component video inputs, plus three HDMI inputs for hooking up HD satellite receivers, cable boxes, and other components that use this digital connection. A PC input and advanced anti-burn-in features let you connect a laptop computer for a larger view during work or play.
