HDMI ver.1.3: The Samsung Blu-ray player is equipped with an HDMI (v.1.3) output. HDMI simplifies A/V connections by carrying video and digital audio all in one cable. The product is great. I had a small issue hooking up my surround sound through my receiveer (that I also bought at Crutchfield!), but when I called tech support they told me what I needed and everything works great!
