Built-In Editing Software
Full HD Compatible: The Samsung HMX-E10 high-definition (HD)
flash-memory camcorder is capable of recording and playback of Full HD video.
Video are recorded in a 16:9 aspect ratio at the following resolutions: 1080/30p
(1920x1080, 30p), and 720/30p (1280x720, 30p).
CMOS Image Sensor: The E10 features a 1/3.2" CMOS image
sensor with 8-million pixels.
H.264 (MPEG-4/AVC) Encoding: The Samsung HMX-E10 uses
advanced H.264 video compression technology. It uses a high compression rate to
sharply increase the recordable time with the same size storage. The camcorder
also records JPEG still images.
2.7" LCD Touch Screen: The camera is equipped with a 2.7"
LCD touch screen monitor. In the recording mode, the camera is held upright. The
top portion of the LCD screen includes a 16:9 monitor (landscape orientation),
while the bottom portion of the screen includes separate touch screen controls
for video and still image recording and zoom. During playback, the videos and
still images are rotated 90° so you can view them on the full LCD screen.
Recording Media: You can record video and still images onto optional
microSD or microSDHC
memory cards. The camcorder supports microSD cards 1 GB to 2 GB and microSDHC cards from 4
GB to 32 GB.
Note: The camcorder does not include an internal memory,
nor does it come with a memory card. An optional memory card must be
obtained prior to recording.
Swiveling Lens: The E10's F2.2 lens is built into the top of
the camera, and can swivel forward or backward up to 270°, allowing you to
achieve the perfect angle for your shot. The lens has a fixed focal length of
4.9mm. The 2x digital zoom lets you get closer to your subject.
Built-in USB: The camcorder features a convenient, built-in
USB Type A plug. Whenever you want to upload your videos and pictures or charge
the unit, just release the spring-loaded USB plug from the bottom of the camera
and plug it into your PC.
Dual Recording: You can simultaneously capture still photos
while recording videos. The still image is recorded without a shutter sound so
it won't be picked up by the camera's microphone. Up to six photos can be
captured per video recording. The resolution of the still image depends upon the
resolution of the video:

Panorama: The Panorama function lets you record a wide
landscape or tall building in a single picture. When the Panorama function is
enabled, you can record the scene by moving the camera in one direction
horizontally or vertically while touching the Photo button. The resolution is
set automatically to 1M.
Smart Filter: You can apply special effects to you photos
using the Smart Filter feature. The various effects include:
- Normal: The camera displays a normal image without any effects.
- Miniature: Blurring parts of the photo makes a life-size object
or location looks miniature in scale.
- Vignetting: Applies retro-looking colors, high contrast, and
strong vignette effect of lomo cameras.
- Sketch: Filter makes the photo look like a pencil sketch.
- Defog: Emphasizes blue tones for the sky and reflective objects,
such as show windows.
Recordable Time for Movie Images: The Samsung HMX-E10
provides the following movie recording times when using a 4 GB, 16 GB, or 32 GB
Photo Recording: The E10 allows you to record JPEG still images onto an inserted
microSD/microSDHC memory card.
The image sizes, and the number of images you can store on a 4 GB, 16 GB, or 32
GB microSDHC card are as follows:

Rechargeable Battery: The Samsung HMX-E10 is powered by a
rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery (BP-90A). The battery can provide up to
80 minutes of continuous video recording at 1080/30p and 90 minutes at 720/30p. It offers
140 minutes of
1080/30p playback and 150 minutes of 720/30p playback.
USB Charging: The camera
can be charged while plugged into your computer via the built-in USB plug. USB
charging takes approximately 190 minutes to complete.
Auto Power Off: For power saving purposes, the camcorder will
automatically turn off it there is no operation for 5 minutes.
USB: The Samsung HMX-E10 features a built-in Type-A USB plug
for connecting the camcorder to your computer.
You can also charge the battery when the camcorder is connected via USB.
mini-HDMI: The Samsung HMX-E10 is equipped with a mini-HDMI
(Type C) output for connecting the camcorder to your HDTV via HDMI.
Built-In Editing Software
Intelli-Studio Built-in Software: Editing software is stored inside the
camcorder. Connecting the camcorder to a Windows computer using the built-in
USB plug runs the editing software application. The application enables
playback, editing, and sharing of the camcorder's recordings on your Windows
PC. The built-in software is not compatible with a Macintosh computer.
System Requirement: The internal Intelli-Studio software is
compatible with Windows only. Your Windows PC will need to meet the following
system requirements to use this software:
