Another work day done. You kick off your shoes, grab a favorite beverage from the fridge and settle into your couch, because your favorite TV show has just launched a new season online. You fire up Netflix® and turn up your new TV. As the music ramps up, the action scenes spill forth and the announcer intones, "Previously on..."
Except something's missing. The sound is only slightly better than that of your tablet's speakers. Your new TV looks awesome, but the manufacturer paid a harsh penalty for that ultra-thin look. Thin speakers generally lead to thin sound.
Vacuum tubes in the preamp section add warmth to the sound of the 'F750.
Fortunately, the fix is easy. You can get the thrill of powerful, accurate bass and crystal clear dialogue from the Samsung HW-F750, a unique-looking sound bar system with a 150-watt powered subwoofer. Its vacuum tube preamp section is coupled to a high-efficiency Class D amplifier for warm, realistic sound with movies, TV shows, and music. Plus, with the enhanced connection flexibility of both an HDMI input and output, this system is well-equipped to route high-quality video and audio where you need it. The 'F750 supports a recent implementation of the HDMI standard for features like Audio Return Channel, which enables two-way audio transmission over one cable, and Samsung's Anynet+™, which enables one-touch (and one-remote) control over all of your HDMI-connected Samsung components.
For increased convenience, your sound bar/subwoofer combo can pair wirelessly via Bluetooth® with a compatible Samsung HDTV using the SoundShare™ feature. The only wires leading to those components will be for AC power. And the Bluetooth connection allows streaming from compatible smartphones, tablets and laptops. How's that for a simple installation?
Of course, the HW-F750 handles other connections as well. A built-in USB port hosts thumb drives and external disk drives with music files. An optical digital input can handle Blu-ray players, game consoles, or your Apple TV®. And there's a stereo analog 3.5mm input for your media player.
Add big sound to your TV without a roomful of speakers. Sound bars require minimal space and wiring, and their sleek designs complement today's flat-panel TVs. Most sound bars have their own built-in amplification, so you won't need to use a home theater receiver. Some models use advanced surround processing and carefully aimed speaker drivers to simulate the effects of a full home theater audio system.
Clean Design. Wall hung soundbar installation under a wall mounted 55" Samsung Smart TV results in a very clean, uncluttered design with minimum wiring exposure. Lots of features. Learning curve not too tough. Setup was very easy. I'm still experimenting with combinations that give the best audio results. BlueTooth is excellent for iphone, ipad, ipod music listening. Our TV room is about 11' x 12'. This soundbar and sub have plenty of power and adjustability for this size space. My wife was fed up with all of the speakers, cables, multiple remotes, and the rack of A/V equipment in the closet. All gone now. In our setup, the Cable/DVR and Blueray are remote so only the TV and soundbar grace the wall. Power and minimum optical and HDMI cables are concealed behind the tv, integrated in the wall mount. The Samsung universal TV remote controls everything*. (*except I haven't figured out how to control the soundbar volume yet). Don't buy it just for the cool Vacuum Tubes, buy it because is sounds great.
Pros: Clean design. Simple setup. Plenty of power and frequency response. Features and settings to tweak and play with.
Cons: Haven't figured out how to mate the TV universal remote to control the soundbar volume, yet. Price seemed a little high initially, but I have not heard or seen anything better in this price range.
I attached this speaker system to my large- screen, LCD, Samsung TV to enhance the sound and clarity of the spoken words. The improvement was amazing and well worth the cost. The Crutchfield technical team helped me ensure that I had the correct connection cable when I placed the order and provided easy to follow directions over the phone to assist me with the installation.
Pros: Great sound system, easy to install, easy to use, doesn't take much space and looks good. Crutchfield technical team provides excellent technical support when placing the order to ensure I got all required connection gear and when I installed the speaker system
excellent value when purchased with smart tv.. easy install...great sound
Pros: great edition where surround set up aesthetically difficult
Cons: initially confusing remote
Anyone with a LED TV knows that the sound quality of the built-in speakres to be very low. The Samsung HW-F750 solves that problem. The rich sound and bass is very impressive! It provides a completely different viewing experience. Set up takes but a few minutes. The wireless conection to the TV by bluetooth does not lessen the sound quality.
Pros: Fast setup and can be easily configured with remote control to turn on and off with the TV. In fact, you don't have to have it configured to turn on when the TV is turned on. The low profile nicely fits the low stand height of our smart tv. Bottom line is that the sound is awsome! We are happy campers!
Cons: Fo the price, this is pricey purchase. However, we purchased the sound bar as part of a Smart TV bundle package which saved us about $350. Not sure if the use of vacuum tubes truly increases sound quality. I wonder how long these tubes will last before having to be replaced?
The sound from this unit is fantastic, very happy with it.
My 50" Samsung TV needed a boost in sound quality, but this was not the answer. The sub was defective and made a buzzing sound, so I was unable to even tell if the soundstage improved over the TV speakers. I sent it back and I am running the TV sound through a high end stereo system.
Cons: Quality lacking in the sub woofer. Cheap finish and defective speaker.
I get great sound without all those wires around the room - maybe saved my marriage
Pros: Easy set up, No extraneous wires. Fine sound
Cons: Can't think of any
Great sound and great connectivity for blue tooth....a criticality for me. Also looks great. No complaints

Hi Terry...The fact that the unit is Plasma should have no impact on the the operation of the sound bar....All contemporary TV's need help, and the F750 is a good choice [ ADRIAN Jan 18, 2014 ]
Yes!! It is a wonderful sound system. I highly recommend it. [ HOWARD R Jan 17, 2014 ]
It works great with my 55 in samsung smart tv,I'm sure it would work just as well with a 64 in [ KIRK Jan 17, 2014 ]
Yes [ COLIN Jan 16, 2014 ]
Hi, I bought this unit to use with my 55 inch smart tv and I'm very pleased with the sound it delivers. The only downside I could tell about it is the way the cables are connected to the soundbar (all inputs must be connected to it so you will have several cables getting into it). Besides that, the sound quality and volume is amazing. The BT capability to play music from my phone, tablet and laptop are very useful. Hope this helps in your decision [ LUIS J Jan 16, 2014 ]
Terry E, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't. If you have a digital optical or HDMI output from your tv, you should be good to go. I think the digital optical will be the cleanest audio signal. There is also a mini audio input in the sound bar, but that is not ideal for best delivery of TV sound. No RCA jacks. This thing has lots of fun and useful features. The sound quality in our 11'x12' TV room is really good. I'm still experimenting with settings and am very pleased after 3 weeks of use. We have ours hung on wall below wall mounted TV. If your TV is sitting on a base, sit the sound bar in front of it, but don't block line-of-sight to the IR receiver, or the TV remote control won't function. [ David Jan 16, 2014 ]
