Decided to go to Channel 0 for TV viewing and acquired the Link Stick. Works great! Not so sure about the Samsung services offered, but its better than Satellite or Cable!

Pros: easy.

Cons: none.

Morks like a charm

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I have a 2010 UN55B000WFXZA. I was assured by Crutchfield that this Link Stick was compatible with my TV even though Sumsung's website said it was not. Received it today and plugged it into my TV. It took about 5 minutes to do the entire operation. That's counting removing it from the box.. Works well so far. The price was great as well.

Pros: Low cost Easy set up

Cons: None yet

Samsung Lan Adapter WIS12ABGNX

Tim from Burlington, KY on 9/28/2012

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Would not work with Samsung Plasma TV (Model 50C550G1FXZA) or Samsung Blu-ray Disc Player (Model BD-C5500) both mfg. 2010. Samsung manuals clearly states that Lan adapter (Model WIS09ABGN) is required for a Wireless Network. This item is no longer available! Although the box for (WIS12ABGNX) clearly indicated that it was compatible. Also Samsung Tech Support made the same claim. After hours of attempting to make it work and contacting Crutchfield Tech Support it was determined that it would not work. So item was returned. Crutchfield sent another by mistake which has also been returned. Disappointed that it did not work and some what displeased with Samsung not supporting my particular models to allow a Wireless Network!

Works great.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The link stick worked great from the moment I connected it to my TV. No configuration required, it picked up my WIFI signal and the response time is very quick too. Already rented at least a dozen movies from Netflix using the adapter! And the pirce was awesome, too.

Cons:

Nice touch

The price was beyond awesome 49.99. Every else was 89.99+

Pros: Enchances the tv viewing capabilities

Cons: Has its moments, but that could be more Samsungs network. I'm on cable at 30mbs down so I doubt it's on me.

Works like a champ

Chesuyli from Atlanta, GA on 7/22/2011

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Cut open the box. Unplugged the safety cover on the USB. Plugged in the back of the Samsung 46" LED-TV. Plug-n-play initiated. Configured Network. DONE! Works like a champ! Down side is the cost. Would like to see it come with the unit or integrated into the system. But, since I bought the TV at a discount, it was not eligible for Link Stick to come with the TV. No problems so far.

Samsung Link Stick

Tom S from New York on 3/4/2011

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased the link stick specifically to access netflix directly on my TV. After seeing many reviewers comment that they purchased this item for the same purpose and enjoyed using it for that purpose I decided to do the same. I have not yet been able to make this happen. I will have to see if I can find a forum on the web to figure out what I am doing wrong as the provided instructions are simplistic. The link stick plugged into my 46" LED TV and I was able to connect with my router immediately. There is adequate signal, but the only on-line media I can access is tied to uTube, Blockbuster, and Yahoo (nothing I wish to use). Cruchfield delivered my order quickly and accurately as always.

Pros:

Cons:

Good, but not sure it's worth the money

Rob from Charlotte, NC on 10/5/2010

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Bought this to use with Netflix & possibly Pandora but have yet to use it for that yet. Like all wireless devices, subject to network slow-downs depending on your provider, other site traffic, etc. However, the wireless adapter works fine with other features like Facebook, Yahoo, Weather, etc. but just don't see myself using those features on my TV rather than the computer. Still, I recommend this purchase to leave future options open if you have the extra cash..

Pros:

Cons:

LinkStick

Ron from Atlanta, GA on 9/9/2010

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Unit very easy to install. Upgraded my ISP to a higher speed, but the link would only test out at 1/2 or less. Modem is located upstairs, TV downstairs. Tech said that because of distance (less than 50' straight line) unit would not run at top speed, even though my laptop runs full out in the TV area. Recommended direct cable link.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

If I hadn't ordered this with my LCD TV, I'd be kicking myself. Great addition to the features of the TV. Shame it wasn't built in, but well worth the price. Connected to our Linksys G network and ready to go in less than five minutes. Movie streams from Netflix are smooth!

Pros:

Cons:

It works ok

MikeD from Langhorne PA on 8/27/2010

Reception can be intermittent at times. I have the unit in the corner of my finished basement. Wireless router is less than 50 feet away on the ground floor. Sometimes it will lose the signal.
