Fantastic TV for the money! Have not seen 1080p mode yet but 1080i rocks. Backlit remote responds to touch and lights for easy viewing of buttons in the dark - nice feature. TV adapts optimum channel resolution based on broadcast mode. Setup was easy and TV is light - replaced 250lb. 32 inch Sony. Consider this TV before buying any others - picture quality is superior!

This set is the best quality I was able to find for the money. My blu-rays (via PS3) look amazing. Ballgames are also phenomenally crisp. I tell my friends that every time I get a twinge of buyer's remorse I just pop in a blu-ray. I would definitely recommend this television to a friend.

Awsome Tv IF and only IF it lasts. This Tv and Samsungs in general are most often returned for blown pixels and Power supply issues, OO By the way, I was an installer. I like the Glossie finsh and the interface BUT it has problems and is not that relilable. If you considering this TV, Look at the Sony V, Z or even the XBR series. Any other brand is just foolish, its a down grade

Great TV! I shopped around and learned as much as possible about the other brands and the Samsung LN40A650 is by far the best in its class. I would buy another one without hesitation. Not only a beautiful picture but a beautiful tv as well.
