This is a beautiful TV, picture so sharp and clear. Blu ray display is
excellent, can even read the credits. The settings are a bit challenging for
me as I have my home theater speakers connected through a reciever/amp
and I have to push a lot of buttons to go from TV to blue ray. The set-up
was, to me, complicated, but all 5 of the technical folks I spoke to at
Crutchfield gave me excellent advice on getting all my components with the
TV set up right.

Awesome TV

All I can say is WOW! I actually bought this sight unseen based on other reviewers' recommendations. The picture is awesome. Set-up is a snap. We've watched DVDs, TV, Netflix streamed movies and played XBox 360 games. I used HDMI cables to hook up components. The picture's so clear it's scary. As always, Crutchfield had it up here in a few days as promised. Great price to boot. Buy it - you won't regret it.

Rating this TV with 4 stars might be a bit harsh. The picture is clearly (pun intended) the best I have seen for any brand. I did try to tweek the picture but found out of the box was almost perfect for my room lighting and conditions. My minor comments are: 1)Boot up time; being used to the "instand on" nature of my old analog tv, I get slight anxiety when the tv takes 3 seconds or so to find the signal and turn on (I'm spoiled in this day of instant computer response). 2)Sound could be slightly better; if I didn't use my surround set up this might be a bigger concern. Bottom line I would still buy it again for its superior picture, classy look, and great price.

Really the nicest set I could have gotten. Great pictures, tons of ports and easy to use menu. Set it up myself using composite video cables since my cable provider does not support HDMI yet. The nature shows on the Discovery Channel and the Animal Planet are incredible. The sports shows are super clear and no problem with action shots. THe 120 Hz appears to do its job.
Only problem I found is that it is very hard to see the controls on the right vertical bezel. They should be backlit. Fortunately I use the remote 99% of the time and don't really care.
