1 Year of Ownership - Disappointed

Well,
I loved the TV... at first. Picture is great, sound is great, and the set looks
great.
After one year of ownership, a physical bubble has appeared in the color in the
bezel (whatever the red is, it is bubbling away from the edge internal to the
glass).
Additionally, the TV has developed an issue where when cold (off overnight or
during the day when I'm at work) it will not turn on immediately - it power
cycles 12-15 times before it eventually turns on. Once warm it will turn on and
off with no issue. I imagine over time it may never come on. I HAVE updated
firmware.
So, as Murphy's law dictates, warranty expires and the set develops problems.
It is unfortunate that the set is really only expect to work for 1 year.
$2800/yr for HDTV is a bit much.
I'd probably try something other than Samsung next time.

This t.v. is awesome. You have to get HD satellite or cable to really get the benefits of this t.v. I would also recommend buying a blu ray for DVD's and if your into video games i would purchase a playstation 3 with the built in blu ray. You can enjoy HD gaming and watch your movies in HD. THe sound system on this t.v. is also great. I didnt expect to hear such great quality sound out of such small speakers.

Samsung LN52A750

I have purchased both the LN52A650 and LN52A750, and am very satisfied with both units. Crutchfield's "white glove" delivery an above average delivery service, and the delivery men did wait until I checked the TV to see that it functioned properly before they left (nice touch). The only reason to purchase the 750 series over the 650 series is the additional software. Hardware specs are the same. It has been two months since my purchase, and I am still quite please with the performance of the 750. I have no hesitations recommending this unit, and no hesitation recommending Crutchfield as the vendor.

Best Picture Ever!!!!!!

When I would buy a big ticket item sometimes I would get that quezzy feeling(did I do the right thing), with this TV, I smile ever time I set down in front of it and say to myself and everybody else how glad I am that I bought the Samsung 52" A750, it is gorgeous, have Directv and the HD channels are crystal clear, even the wife comments how good it is(I'll be glad when her's goes bad so I can get her a Samsung). The service at Crutchfield was great, was delivered to my door and placed in the house, no taxes, no shipping charges. This was my first time to order a big item like this over the internet, it comes in it's box just like the brick & mortar stores, 4 pieces of foam(2 on bottom and 2 on top) hold it securely, nothing to worry about. I highly recommend this TV, you'll be glad you did.

This TV is great. The picture is amazing. My family and I watched Transformers on the blueray and the color and clairity is nothing short of excellent. Job well done.
