It responds immediately to my commands, it doesn't skip, it reads almost all discs, and it has many easy to use features. For a few years I've struggled with a horribly designed Magnavox that I bought at a "big-box" store. Although my old dvd/vcr combo still works, I'm going to leave it out in front of my house with a note saying that it is free to the first taker. 8 out of 10 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? Crutchfield Customer Review The reviewer purchased this item from us, verified by the email address on the order. I found this unit very easy to set up from the instruction booklet and cables that came with the unit. I had ordered extra audio and video cables as we thought they were needed. But due to having an older TV (non HDTV) and home theatre system, I only needed the audio cables. The Crutchfield Customer service tech cheerfully took back the video cables for credit and reviewed my hook up with me. I found the audio cables improved my sound quality on my older system and the picture quality was amazingly sharper with the playing of DVD's and VHS tapes on this Samsung combo. I would highly recommend this product for its features and price. Thank you Crutchfield, I will be calling again. 17 out of 18 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? I've been transfering home movies on VHS to DVD with no problems. It won't copy pre-recorded VHS tapes that have the copy guard macro. It does record laser disc movies through the S-video input. The laser disc copy looks like it does watching the disc. Putting it on DVD does not improve the picture. It has good indexing features for the avarage user. You can also record fire wire video which is a nice feature. Over I like it! Good price too! 39 out of 41 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? It records on most DVD formats but seems to work best with DVD-R and DVD-RW disks. The auto chapter creation is wonderful. 5 out of 5 Good Value, Lot's of Features Written By Michael, Chicago, IL on Wednesday, August 30, 2006 I have been so happy with this unit since I got it out of the box. 5 out of 5 Samsung DVD-VR330 Written By Randy, Williamsburg, VA on Thursday, July 13, 2006 Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?) Crutchfield Customer Review The reviewer purchased this item from us, verified by the email address on the order. Yes | No

4 out of 5 Samsung DVD-VR330 Written By Kenn, Salisbury MA on Friday, July 07, 2006 Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?) Crutchfield Customer Review The reviewer purchased this item from us, verified by the email address on the order. I like this unit very much. Yes | No
4 out of 5 Samsung DVD-VR330 Written By John, Albany, NY on Monday, October 02, 2006 Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?) Crutchfield Customer Review The reviewer purchased this item from us, verified by the email address on the order. I'm thrilled with this unit. Very easy DVD recording and playback. It records on most DVD formats but seems to work best with DVD-R and DVD-RW disks. The auto chapter creation is wonderful. Also like the direct DV recording right from my digital video camera. 8 out of 9 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? Yes | No
