HP makes it easy! Pair your Photosmart 935 camera with the Photosmart 8886 camera dock for effortless photo transfer and camera charging. Here's how it works. For photo transfer, you just leave this handy dock connected to your PC or your HP Photosmart printer. You and your camera hit the road, and when you come home, you don't have to worry about making connections. Instead, just drop the camera into place on the dock, and let the transfer begin! It's a great option for folks who love snapping photos, but hate crawling under their desk every time they want to plug in a USB cable.

And the convenience doesn't stop there. The 8886 dock is also a battery charger, and comes with a pair of "AA" NiMH rechargeables — perfect for use in the Photosmart 935 camera. Finally, no more throwing away disposable batteries!

Last, but certainly not least, is the TV display capability of the 8886 dock. Just make a simple video connection to your TV set. Then, whenever you want to display your latest digital photos, just set the camera in the dock and let the slideshow begin! You can even rotate and magnify your photos during viewing with the dock's included wireless remote. Whether you're showing off baby pictures in the living room, or business photos in a boardroom, this is a very nice touch indeed.

Compatibility: The HP Photosmart 8886 camera dock is compatible with the following HP Photosmart digital cameras: 435, 635, 735 and 935.

Overview: The HP Photosmart 8886 camera dock allows you to easily download images to your computer, print images directly to a printer, and display images and video clips on a television. In addition, if you have the supplied rechargeable batteries in the camera, they will be recharged anytime the camera is in the camera dock.

Remote Control: If the dock is connected to a printer, the remote lets you rotate, magnify, and print images. You can also use the remote to navigate the camera menus and use the Instant Share feature.

Controls and Indicators

Front Panel:

Power Light: shows the power/battery charging status
Save/Print Button: activates the connection to the computer or the printer, depending on which of those is connected to the dock. If the light above this button is on, then the dock is connected to the computer or printer. If the light is blinking, then there is an active connection between the camera and the computer or printer.
TV Button: activates the television connection, which starts the slideshow of images. If the light above this button is on, then the dock is connected to the TV. If the light is blinking, then an audio/video signal is being sent to the TV.

Top Panel:

Dock Connector: proprietary connector that interfaces with the compatible digital camera

Back Panel:

DC In: DC jack for use with supplied AC power adapter
USB: USB port that allows you to connect the dock to a USB-enabled computer or printer
TV Connector: minijack that allows you to connect the camera dock to a television using the supplied audio/video cable
