Jumping Race Drone: The Parrot Jumping Race MiniDrone is made to race both indoors and outdoors. Equipped with a powerful engine and large wheels for perfect traction, the Jumping Race MiniDrone reaches up to 8 mph. The two large retractable wheels adapt to all driving styles. Wheels open, for greater stability in high-speed, ideal on smooth roads. Compact wheels to increase agility and drive through narrow areas.

Patented Spring-Mounted System: Its patented spring-mounted system allows the MiniDrone to jump up to 2.5' in height and length. Plus it always lands on its wheels. The Parrot Jumping Race MiniDrone can spin around, jump, roll upside down, and push or hit an object.

Wide-Angle Camera: The Parrot Jumping Race MiniDrone is equipped with a wide-angle camera (640 x 480) that streams live, immersive views on the screen of your piloting Apple iOS or Android device with the FreeFlight Jumping app installed. You are able to capture video & photos.

4GB Flash Memory: The Jumping Race MiniDrone's photos & videos are recorded onto it built-in 4GB flash memory. When the memory is full, a warning message will appear telling you it is no longer possible to take photos or videos. You can  retrieve or delete the images on the 4GB flash memory by connecting the MiniDrone to your computer using the included USB cable. To do this, the battery for the MiniDrone must be installed and should be fully charged. Once connected, the MiniDrone will show up as a USB drive on your computer. You can then copy & delete files using your computer.

Built-in Speaker & Microphone: The embedded speaker and microphone allow you to speak through the Jumping Race MiniDrone using the FreeFlight Jumping app installed on your Apple iOS or Android device and a set of headphones with built-in microphone. You cannot record a video and activate the Walkie Talkie mode simultaneously. When you connect your earphones the video recording stops automatically.

FreeFlight Jumping App: You'll need the FreeFlight Jumping app from Apple's App Store or Google Play to pilot the Jumping Race MiniDrone from your Apple iPod/iPhone/iPad (iOS 7.0+) or Android smartphone/tablet (OS 4.0+). The app offers intuitive control from your smartphone or tablet and connects to the Parrot Jumping Race MiniDrone via WiFi (2.4GHz or 5.0GHz). It has a maximum wireless distance of 165' (50m).

Control Modes: The Jumping Race MiniDrone's ultra-sophisticated technology enables precise turns and hugs the road. Control it with your fingertips from the FreeFlight Jumping App on your Apple iOS or Android device and enjoy three different piloting modes

• Jumper Mode: Jumps up to 2.5' (75cm) in height and length, and always lands on its wheels. As soon as you pick-up the Drone, the lights will turn red notifying you that the jump is disabled.
• Kicker Mode: The springs enable the Jumping Race MiniDrone to push objects in its path.
• Auto-Balance Mode: The Parrot Jumping Race MiniDrone is perfectly balanced on the two wheels.

Adjustable Speed & Stability Modes: The Jumping Race MiniDrone embedded technology ensures perfectly straight driving paths and precise turns. The Jumping Race MiniDrone offers two wheels positions for different stability levels.

• Open Wheel Mode: The wheels are open for greater stability in high-speed driving.
• Retracted Wheel Mode: The wheels are retracted or in compact mode to enhance agility and maneuverability through narrow areas.

Max Settings: You can define the maximum rotation speed of the MiniDrone. If this value is low the smartphone will need to be tilted significantly in order to turn the MiniDrone. If this value is high a slight tilt is all that's needed. You can also define the maximum speed of the MiniDrone. If this value is low moving your finger slightly on the left-hand joystick will be sufficient in order to maneuver the MiniDrone forwards or backwards. If this value is high, a more pronounced movement of your finger will be necessary.

Road Plan: The Road Plan feature enables you to program a course of actions including sequence of acrobatic moves, sounds and lights. Once you have programmed a sequence, it appears amongst the pre-defined tricks of your MiniDrone. The itinerary appears on the FreeFlight Jumping app among the predefined movements.

Drone Academy: Connect your Apple iOS or Android device with the FreeFlight Jumping app installed to the Internet and the Parrot Cloud to share your stats with other pilots. Keep track of all your sessions and share your photos and navigation data with other members of the Parrot Cloud. Join Pilot Academy with over 500,000 pilots registered, and connect with YouTube or Facebook to share your drone activities instantly. You also get free backup of your sessions and data.

Rechargeable Battery: The Jumping Race MiniDrone comes with a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery (550mAH) that can last up to 20 minutes. A microUSB-to-USB cable is supplied to charge the battery from a free USB port on your computer; the battery will remain in the MiniDrone while charging. It takes approximately 90 minutes to fully charge the battery. You can purchase Parrot's 2.6A Charger (333MINCHAR, sod separately) for a much quicker charge time of about 25 minutes; the battery is removed from the MiniDrone for charging. Extra batteries (333MINIBAT, sold separately) are also available.

Firmware & Software Updates: There are two ways to update the Jumping Race MiniDrone with newer firmware & software.

• App: Via the FreeFlight3 app on your Apple iOS or Android device, and pressing the "Updates" button. Your mobile device must be connected to the Internet.
• USB: Connect the MiniDrone to your computer via USB and downloading the update file from the Parrot website. Make sure the MiniDrone has a fully charged battery.

Warnings & Warranty

Flight Pattern Warning: The Parrot Jumping Race MiniDrone is a remote control model aircraft designed only for entertainment purposes only. Please fly responsibly. Do not fly your Parrot Jumping Race MiniDrone over any populated area, such as beaches, others people's backyards, heavily populated parks,  professional or collegiate sports events, or over gathering of animals. Absolutely, do not fly near an airfield. If you want to fly your Parrot Jumping Race MiniDrone in any populated area or near an air field, do contact your local aerial authority to get the appropriate authorization.

Recordings Warning: Recording and circulating an image of an individual may constitute an infringement of their image and privacy for which you could be liable. Ask for authorization before filming individuals, particularly if you want to keep your recordings and/or circulate images on the Internet or any other medium. Do not circulate a degrading image or one which could undermine the reputation or dignity of an individual. The use of the Parrot Jumping Race MiniDrone for surveillance or espionage is strictly forbidden and could result in your prosecution under the law. Check that your use of the cameras on board the Parrot drone complies with the legal provisions on the protection of privacy.

Product Warranty: Parrot warrants that the Parrot MiniDrone will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12-months from the initial date of purchase upon presentation of proof of purchase to the retailer or to Parrot (including the date and place of purchase, product serial number). Return to retailer is not applicable in the USA - return shall be made to Parrot only. During the contractual warranty period, any defective product should be returned in its original packaging to Parrot's after-sales service. After inspection of the product, Parrot will, at its sole discretion, either repair or replace the defective part or product, excluding any other indemnification of any nature. Parrot's warranty does not cover:

• defects due to damage caused by an accidental collision, fall, or abnormal use
• defects caused by any reason other than a defect in material, workmanship, and craftsmanship
• defects cause by customization of product by the end-user
• defects caused by repairs carried out by the end-user or an unauthorized 3rd party, except spare parts provided by Parrot
• defects due to the use of spare parts not provided by Parrot in the original packaging
• defects due to the fact that spare parts have been installed without following the recommendations and instructions provided by Parrot at www.parrot.com or if the Parrot Bebop Drone has been customized by the end-user;
• loss of charge time by rechargeable battery over time does not constitute a defect in material or workmanship
