Have you ever packed up the family SUV and realized there isn't any room left for the grill? The Freedom Grill FG-50 solves the problem of cramped cargo areas. Based on an award-winning design, this cast-aluminum grill attaches to any 2" trailer hitch receiver, locking into place on a heavy-gauge steel swing arm. Your next picnic in the park, day at the beach, or tailgate at the game will never be the same.

When you park, just swing the grill out away from your vehicle, and fire up the 12,000 BTU stainless-steel burner. The FG-50 offers over 352 square inches of cooking space over an open flame, so you can grill enough to keep everyone satisfied. The fold-out side tables and condiment tray offer plenty of space for food prep, and you can even detach the grill from the arm to use it on table-top surfaces.

Features

Lock: In transit the hood latches closed, the grill is padlocked to the hitch arm (a 4-digit combination padlock is included), and the hitch arm is locked in place.

Swing Arm: When you're ready to cook, the hitch assembly rotates and locks in place at 90° or 180°. You then rotate the grill to whatever angle you like.

Condiment Tray: The burner control and lighter are covered by a flip down door when the grill's not in use. When you open the door it doubles as a condiment tray and has four hooks for hanging utensils.

Cylinder Hook: There is a hook on the side designed to hold a 14.1 ounce (or smaller) propane tank (4" diameter, 8" length).

Thermometer: On the front of the hood is an integrated thermometer so you can monitor the grill without lifting the hood.

Mounting: Using the included legs, the FG-50 can be removed from the hitch arm and used on a table (or another flat surface).

Outdoor Use Only: As you'd expect, the Freedom Grill is designed for outdoor use only.

Tailgating Ease

I had been thinking about a tailgate grill for some time. I had a hard time finding a smaller portable gas grill and last year bought a cheap product that uses the small propane tanks. It was way too cheap of a product. This year I decided to look further and found the Freedom Grill FG-50. Crutchfield had the best price and the quick delivery brought it to my home before the next game. It is a perfect grill for tailgating. It heats up easily and the tailgate feature moves it away during the grilling process. You don't have to worry about putting it away, it just stores on the back of the truck while you are at the game. I plan to use it on the back of my ATV in Colorado in the future. This should work easily as well.
