2004 Ford Freestar
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Super fast and easy install. Perfect solution to keep power to the rear entertainment center in my 2004 Ford Freestar. Just wired it in and the rear DVD player works just like it did with my factory stereo. I can play the audio thru the van's speakers or just let the kids use the van's infrared headphones. I read mixed reviews on whether the IR headphones would continue to work. Crutchfield advisor said they would and they were right! Great!

Pros: Super easy install. Retains sound and power for rear entertainment center in 2004 Ford Freestar

Cons: None

Very easy install didn't even have to take the radio out. I installed this on an 06 Expedition. It shipped out soon and I received it before the date they said.. All in all I'm happy with my purchase and the product..

Pros: Easy install

Cons: Wish it was able to play rear DVD up front too..

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

this wireharness is really hard to find, but it is worth the chase it enables you to hook-up an aftermarket head unit (cd/dvd player) in an expedition without replaceing or losing the factory entertainment package dvd player in the rear, i was excited to hear of this wire harness because i was about to replace the factory dvd player in order to have two dvd player runing at the same time. it very easy to hook up and crutchfeild will send you(upon request) the wireing layout for the harness, its worth the $

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Installed in 06 Expedition with a Kenwood DDX6019. Plays fine through the speakers
but disables the ability to use IR wireless headphones which is a big minus for me
having little ones. Did not know this until after the fact. That would be a great thing to
know before a purchase.
