One, you can scroll through your song titles on your stereo's larger display, instead of squinting down at your iPod. Two, you can route the adapter cable to your glove compartment or center console, so your iPod stays safely out of sight. And last of all, some adapters bypass your iPod's internal digital-to-analog converter, using your stereo's superior DAC to turn your files back into music. The KNW/USB-AV connecting cable from Precision Interface Electronics gives you high-speed access to the music and video on your video iPod through your compatible 2007-up Kenwood DVD receiver. I just installed this in my 2006 Tacoma with my Kenwood DNX7100 Head Unit (that radio is sweet!). This ipod cable works great with my 4gen 20 Gig ipod. On the DNX7100 I can sort songs by artist, genre, etc. The interface is fairly quick but has some slight delay which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The delay is so slight it is almost not worth mentioning. Overall I am quite impressed.
