About the P.I.E Aux Input Adapter For Volkswagen
Got a portable music player? Then you probably know that a direct connection to your vehicle's radio will give you the best possible sound quality. The Precision Interface Electronics VW-AUX adapter lets you add an auxiliary input to your 1998-2007 Volkswagen factory radio, suitable for connecting a Dock & Play satellite radio tuner, portable music player, or other audio source.
Just plug the 12-pin connector on the adapter cable into the CD changer port in your trunk, connect your portable player to the adapter's RCA inputs, and go. This adapter uses your factory CD changer port, so you'll have to disconnect a factory changer or satellite radio in order to use this adapter. Warranty: 90 days.
Note: You'll need a connecting cable for connecting your iPod or for connecting a source to the auxiliary input.

Simple installation makes for quick access to my favorite satelite radio tunes. I wound up mounting this on top of the deck lid support because of water infiltration issues blowing my previous interfaces.
