Yes | No 1 out of 5 Universal Dock is not what I expected Written By Rick, Austin, TX on Sunday, May 09, 2010 I am not sure what the purpose of this product is. I bought it so we could connect our i-Pod to a stereo receiver that I had just purchased from Crutchfield. There is no power cord for the product and no cord to connect to the receiver, so basically all you get is a base that can be used for any generation i-Pod, but no connections to anything. You use the power cord from your i-Pod to connect the base to a USB connection or to a charger and you need to buy a splitter to connect the speaker output to RCA phono plugs to connect to a receiver. I bought a splitter and returned the Universal Dock to Crutchfield for a refund. I am very disappointed in the product. 12 out of 19 people found this helpful Was this review helpful?
