Not bad, but does the job.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Aside from the bottom legs not being shaped properly, and the difficulty in assembly; they do a good job of holding the speakers. I am not a fan of attaching velcro to the bottom my speakers, but there was no other alternative to secure them to the tops of these stands. They look cool, and after adjusting are not too wobbly. All in all...I think another stand would have been better suited.

Pros: Look good

Cons: Shoddy manufacturing (unless its just mine) Lack of options for securing speakers to stand.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I would give them no stars if I could. The materials are OK but the bends and cutt ends are not straight so it does not stand vertical. The speaker mounting plates are not level side to side. Poor manufacturing tolerances.

Pros: None. Could be good stands if they were properly manufactured.

Cons: They are junk.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The Bell'O speaker stands first caught me eye do to their style and design. I was looking at more expensive stands that were fully welded when I first saw the Bell'O stands. I liked that the top plate is welded to the two upright columns. I compared them with another stand using the same speakers and the Bell'O stands were more rigid. Switching stands the imaging and soundstaging were better with the more rigid Bell'Os than the Sanus EF 24 inch stands. Much of the weight in the SP224's is in the base. The stands have good carpet piercing spikes to couple to the floor under the carpet. The weight of the base and the spikes make for a very stable stand on carpeted floors. They also include soft feet for wood or tile floors. The spike feet are adjustable and once adjusted can be locked in place by a round threaded flat nut.

Pros: The two columns, one which is a hollow steel rectangle and the other being a round hollow steel post, compliment each other to create a rigid stand. The two upright columns attach to the base at two different places to distribute the weight. The stands are easy to assemble and all hardware and tools needed are enclosed. I used small, flat and round rubber cushions under the speakers to keep them in place. The cushions are attached to the top plate of the stand and not to the speaker.

Cons: There is no way to add mass to the stands by filling with sand or shot.
