It's good to have options. The Bell'O TP-4501 Triple Play gives you elegant storage your for A/V gear, with three different ways to set up your TV:
Use the provided TV mount, attached to the fixed-height rear mounting frame great for places where you'd rather not drill into your wall.
Detach the provided mount and rear frame, and use the mount to hang your TV on the wall.
Remove the mount and rear frame, and simply place your TV directly on the cabinet top.
The mount can support a TV with a screen size of up to 55" and weighing up to 125 lbs. The sturdy steel frame features a black scratch-resistant powder coating, and hand-painted wood-tone trim accents. Three tempered safety glass shelves can hold at least four audio/video components. And the shelves have angled corners so the cabinet can fit snugly into a corner. Interior channels in the frame hide wires and cables, maintaining a clean, uncluttered appearance.
the stand was perfect for my audio/video system. I mounted a 55" TV on the stand mount, and used the shelves for my components and center channel speaker . The stand was easy to assemble. It was very well packaged and Bell'o supplied a very good set of assembly instructions.
One major problem was the label glued to the top shelf. The glue had hardened enough so that the label could not be easily peeled off. I scraped the paper off with a razor blade scraper and then used a solvent (WD-40) to dissolve the glue residue. The scraper did not hurt the shelf. It was just like scraping a label off a car window. It would be nice if companies would use a non-permanent adhesive for labels like this..
Pros: Sturdy well-built and designed stand that looks good.
Cons: A large label was permanently glued to the top shelf.
Crutchfield continues to amaze me with there excellent customer service, they sent this stand as a replacement for a Premier Essex stand . This is exactly the stand that I need. You can use the stand and components for two different locations or one.as needs be Bello uses above average components, strong and easy to asemble with a manual that is understable. The stand is modern simple and elegant looking.
Pros: Well engineered, Versatile, Strong steel, easily assembled, Great for Plasma 51 inch TV
I am very happy with this stand. I like the looks of it; it fits in our living room nicely, and the price was right. Assembly went smoothly overall, and the stand has good shelf space. It is holding my 55" Samsung very nicely indeed.
Pros: Good looks, good price, wire management keeps things tidy. Flexible for changes in the future.
Cons: Instructions are slightly vague. Can be a little fussy getting your wires down the pole.
I love this tv stand. It is exactly what I wanted. It was easy to put together & does hold my 55" tv.
Pros: swivel pole
The stand is perfect for our av setup. It was easy to assemble and looks great. The swivel bar makes it easy to position the tv for different viewing angles and gives us room on the top shelf for our center channel speaker.
Pros: Looks great, easy to assemble
Cons: Labeling is inconsistent; box said it held tv's up to 46", website and customer service say 55". It would be nice if we didn't have to carefully peel off a large sticker from the top glass shelf.
T. V. stand was easy to assemble, having the option of a wall mount & stand mount gives you a choice, liked the hidden wire channel, recommend this to anybody looking for a nice stand.
Sturdy when mounted on the back frame and love the hidden cables, it keeps things looking clean. I had a broken shelf that was handled without any problems and I received a replacement within a couple of days at no cost to me. Go Crutchfield and go Bell-O. By the way, the broken shelf did not delay the set up as the shelves are the last thing that are installed. Thx.
This is great stand in both looks and features. I especially like the cable management system (bit of a stickler about exposed cables).
The directions are easy to understand, but had an issue with the bottom main frame. It didn't reach the pre-drilled holes, but after some dugging I was able to get it installed.
Bottom line, for what you get, it's a great stand @ a great price.

I don't have mine in a corner. My TV is 55"; just eye balling it, you could put it in a corner. Just don't expect to put it flush in a corner. [ JEFFREY D May 12, 2015 ]
Yes, as I had the same question! I use mine in a corner and it works well. Best of luck. [ PATRICE M May 05, 2015 ]
Yes. I am using it with a 55" Samsung and it fits in the corner perfect. [ CARMEN F May 04, 2015 ]
Yes! It's a really classy looking table. We have a 55" Sony on It without the extra stand. It's in a tight corner and does well [ ENID May 04, 2015 ]
Not if you use the TV mount attached to the rear mounting frame. The TV is at the back of the stand over the narrowest part of the shelf. This which means that the TV width, not the stand width, determines how far the stand must be out from the wall. The only way this stand could be used in a corner is to remove the rear mounting frame and put the TV on the front of the top shelf. If you want to that, you should just buy a cheaper stand. The rear mounting frame is the primary reason to buy this stand. [ JOSEPH W May 03, 2015 ]
Well it is used against a flat wall in my case. I don't see issue if you decided to use in corner. May not fit exactly how you envision it. [ JOSEPH P May 03, 2015 ]
It will fit into a corner but don't forget to take into account the T.V. Most flat screens don't fit into corners very well. [ JOSEPH May 03, 2015 ]
