Talk hands-free in your car with this handy little device — just attach Alpine's DCS-BT1 Bluetooth module to your visor with its included clip, pair your compatible phone, and you're good to go. Plus, its design allows you to take it from car to car, great if you're driving a rental.

Easy, one-button operation
When a call comes in, you'll hear the caller's number announced. Tap the large button to answer, and you'll hear your caller through the DCS-BT1's built-in speaker. When mounted on the visor directly in front of you, the device's omnidirectional microphone zeroes in on your voice so your caller can hear you loud and clear. When you're done, just tap the button again to end the call. Turn the knob right or left to adjust the volume — Alpine's single-button design means you can make calls while keeping your eyes on the road.

Other useful features
You can stream music to the DCS-BT1 if your phone supports it — just double-tap the button to pause and play your streaming tunes. The DCS-BT1 can even announce your phone's navigation voice prompts if applicable. No matter how you use it, the DCS-BT1's battery can keep up: you'll get about 400 hours of standby time and 14 hours of talk time on a single charge. When it runs down, just pop in the included cigarette lighter adapter to recharge.

Note: Compatibility of this device may vary, depending on your phone and service provider.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought this for my wife. She has had it for only a couple of weeks but so far so good. When she calls me from her car the sound quality is very good, it is almost like she is holding the phone normally and she says that the sound quality coming from the unit is also very good. The unit is easy to use, one button operation, and it is nice having the blue indicator light that lets you know when it is on. I would definately buy another one, it is alot better than having that earpiece stuck in your ear.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I did not want to upgrade my HU from factory. I installed this unit on my
sunvisor and now I have no problems with talking more than a few mins when
driving. I can take business calls easily and hear them clearly. They have also
reported that they can hear me perfectly, even better than with an earpiece
bluetooth. Worth every penny.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased this unit for my wife b/c she does not like the smaller units or ear
pieces. The first unit was defective, Crutchfield replaced it immediately. The
sync with the iPhone 3GS is simple, the sync with the iPhone 4 is also simple,
the sound quality is ok and based on my experience better than most blue tooth
units, the unit is large enough to avoid it from being a distraction while
driving, and most importantly my wife likes it and uses it while driving. The
only complaint i have about the unit is the flimsy wire connector for your
visor. It pops off from the unit b/c my wife's visor on the MDX is thicker than
most. I have since rectified it by using superglue to keep the wire from popping
off the unit.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased 2 units of the this product as gifts and they seem to fit the bill perfectly. Both units are being used by my 2 sons in Los Angeles and they seem to work very well in busy traffic areas. The microphone is omnidirectional and sensitive enough that you can pick up subtle conversations by all in the vehicle. I am told that the speaker performs very well also.
Good buy on my part!
