Q
does it fit an acura tl 2004 with no navigation?

A
I purchased this to use with the Alpine CDA-9856. I used it in conjunction with a blue-tooth receiver to stream from the phone using the aux in. I believe its considered Ai-Net interface. I'm not sure if its exclusive to Alpine or not, but if so, you'd need an alpine receiver for this cable to do you any good. If Ai-Net wasn't exclusive to alpine or if any companies partnered with them with the intent of pairing their factory components with say an alpine cd changer I'm not sure. If you have an aftermarket alpine receiver installed you should be able to look it up to see if it has the Ai-Net option.

It fits an Alpine head unit, it is not vehicle specific. If you have an Alpine head unit without an auxiliary port, you plug it directly into the back of the head unit.

Yes, the KCA-121B allows you to adapt the CD changer input of AI-Net controlling Alpine head units (including the CDA-9855) to an RCA (aux) input. Hope that helps!

Q
Will this work with cda-7832 circa 1990's?

A
As long as the unit has a s-video connection on the rear and an input option for video in the menu then it should work.
ernesto  Feb 12, 2016
A
If your receiver is AI-NET compatible (which I believe the CDA-7832 is) then the KCA-121B will be compatible with your receiver. It will connect to the Ai-NET port on the rear of the receiver. The Ai-NET port is where you would typically connect an Alpine CD changer. Keep in mind that the KCA-121B is only for passing an aux. signal to the receiver. It will not allow you to control the aux. device from the receiver. Hope this helps you out

I'm using this, on my boat, with a iDA-100M marine head unit. It should work if your head unit has a cd changer input using the Ai-net port. Works great, I feed my auxiliary satellite receiver into it for Sirius radio underway. I have no need for CD's as I use an iPod touch to store music. Good luck! Mike

Q
I have an alpine CDA9856. Will this allow me to hook up a Sirius XM portable radio?
david  Nov 22, 2015

A
Ya, I did the the same thing with mine. All you need in addition to this is an aux cord with the two male ends and then you can run your portable xm radio.
dane c  Nov 24, 2015
A
Yes as long as your Sirius radio has head phone jack out put or RCA out put. I bought it to play music from my cell phone. So I also purchased a 6 foot RCA to head phone jack to extend the cable . the alpine adaptor is very short. In all works well I don't know why I waited so long to buy it. I hope this helps.
joey  Nov 24, 2015
A
For the most part, yes. You will connect this in the place of the ai-net cable for the CD changer and switch the auxiliary input to "on".
