Most 6-1/2" car speakers fit behind existing door panels or factory grilles, so Alpine doesn't include grilles with their Type-S speakers. If you're doing a custom installation with Alpine's SPS-610 speakers, pick up these KTE-S610G speaker grilles. The black steel mesh design with Alpine logo graphics will protect your speakers and make your installation look great. Warranty: 1 year.
Note: Sorry, Crutchfield cannot ship Alpine products to Guam or Puerto Rico.
Fits perfect looks great
Grills fit great and looked fine
Pros: Good looking
Good looking speaker covers that overlay great speakers for the money, but they should include screws to attach the fitted speakers
Pros: Attractive and fit well
Cons: Most speakers come with grills included -- these are separate, which in and of itself would be fine, but they should include hardware
Grilles look great and fit perfectly
fits perfectly, covers exposed speakers with a nice type S finish
I installed my Alpine type S speakers with the supplied speaker bracket. These covers fit right over the speaker and the machine screw holes line up perfectly. The machine screws supplied with the speaker are only long enough for the speaker. I don't understand why Alpine wouldn't include longer machine screws with the grills. The machine screws you will need to put these on with the speaker bracket are M4-0.7 x 16MM. Those are the same thread as original but the right length.
Pros: Protection, mesh grill.
Cons: Machine screws for bracket not included
Theses "Alpine" speaker covers are made for "Alpine" speakers, I think its pretty lame that you have to order these separately if you need them. When I ordered the speakers nobody told me the grills were not included so I had to spend more money on another order to get the grills sent.
Pros: Fit perfectly ( they are made for only these speakers), look nice.
Cons: Hey Crutchfield...ask us if we need speaker covers while were ordering!!! They SHOULD be included in price of the speaker in my opinion. I rate 3 stars because I had to make another order to get them.
Covers fit exact, look good too.
New speaker covers fit over old Alpine speakers perfect (freshen up doors)
Pros: Always fast service
Cons: all good no cons
Great product, great service getting them to me
