Our take on the Alpine MRP-F200

High-quality Alpine power in an affordable amplifier! Alpine uses the same premium quality and engineering that it puts into its V12 amplifiers to make the V-Power amps. With a rugged look and high-tech features, the V-Power series has an amplifier for nearly any need — the MRP-F200 amp gives you four-channel flexibility and 40 watts RMS per channel of strong, steady, dependable output.

By packing these amplifiers with performance-boosting extras, Alpine ensures that you have plenty of control over your music. The power-enhancing Bass Engine® gives you built-in crossovers with a clean 18 dB per octave cut-off. Turn on the tuned Bass EQ for an 8 dB boost at 50 Hz to enhance the bass output. The speaker-level inputs let you add one of these amps to any car stereo. Preamp outputs make it easy for you to add a second amp to your system.

Features

Crossover: The internal crossovers are 18dB/octave fixed at 80Hz. The crossovers may be set for high-pass, low-pass, or full range operation. There are two separate crossovers, one for channels 1 & 2 and one for channels 3 & 4.

Speaker Level input: There is a four channel speaker level input harness compatible with nearly any model head unit, factory or aftermarket.

Multi Mode: A subwoofer and two stereo speakers can be powered simultaneously by each set of amplifier channels using Alpine's Multi Mode. An outboard crossover (or two) is required for this and is not included.

MOSFET Power Supply: The DC-DC converter uses MOSFETs for more efficient operation.

Bass Boost: The bass boost circuit boosts channels 3 & 4 8dB at 50 Hz
