While this was positive there were also some negetives such as that your selections with regard to adjusting different channels left or right could not be combined like with my previous set up. The most dissapointing aspect of the unit is the display because the visual options are very antiquated and do not do anything to impress. Also the color of the buttons are not able to be changed from the blue while illuminated. I would have to say as a whole the Alpine H 701 and this controler unit are a disapointment when compared to other EQ/Crossover models on the market in similar price points. Yes they are better than the processing you would get from an aftermarket deck but when compared to other companies offerings in the $750 range it falls short in terms of adjustability, pre eq voltage to amps and the size of the box. 17 out of 24 people found this helpful Was this review helpful?
