Give your nautical journeys a boost with a new pair of marine speakers. Alpine's SPS-M600 6-1/2" marine speakers use a time-tested design to boost the performance of your boat's audio system.
Alpine equips its speakers for high power handling, so they'll cut through the noise of the wind, waves, and motor. The stiff 6-1/2" polymica woofers deliver powerful, accurate reproduction, while the titanium/PEI tweeters supply plenty of high-frequency detail.
Alpine built the SPS-M600 speakers to withstand the tough environmental conditions of life on the water. The speakers sport silver UV-resistant grilles and high-temperature custom frames that stand up to direct exposure to the sun, while treated cloth surrounds resist damage from moisture, heat, and motor oil. Your speakers won't turn yellow or lose any musical zip.
Priced per pair

Pros: Idiot proof
An alpine marine speaker for 70 bucks is a great deal
Pros: Purchased 3 sets for a friends boat. Hooked two up to the deck alone and one set to a small alpine amp. The amp makes a huge difference in the quality of sound.
Great sounding speakers. Can compare them to a Polk audio any day. Only complaint I have is the speaker covers clip on. The screws don't hold them in. Hopefully they last ok.
Pros: Sound great.
Cons: Covers clip on instead of being screwed in with the actual speaker.
Great speakers. Sound great and perform to my expectations. I actually ordered a second pair so I would have a total of 4 for great sound. I can hear the radio over then engine when I am cruising and up on plane.
Pros: Grey grills match or accentuate most carpets very well. Easy to mount and wire as there is a template with screw holes on the box.
Cons: None so far
Speaker is excellent at a very reasonable price. Best of all was customer service which provided free return shipping of wrong item I mistakenly ordered and sent me this item quickly. I've been a happy customer of Crutchfield for over 30 years thanks to service like this.
Pros: Looks good, fits properly, and provides quality sound.
Great sounding speakers
Pros: Easy to install. Grey covers actually matched my carpet better than the normal white or black. Carries sound well, matched up with a Kenwood head unit.
Cons: None I can think of off hand
These things sound great. They replaced some clapped out kenwoods and the difference is amazing. I've been running custom gear from crutchfied for years and was thrilled with the deal they ran on these. You should definitely put them on your list of things to put in your boat.
Pros: Price Clarity
Cons: Light on the bass
Absolutely love the speakers. Bought them to install as a gift on my father's pontoon. Now everyone is enjoying the quality sound.
Pros: Great sound and clarity. Typical Alpine sound.
Cons: No Cons
They sound great.
I bought these to replace a different brand speaker that were 5 1/4" speakers and couldn't handle high volume without distorting. I had to cut the holes in the gel oat of my camper a little bigger which wasn't a problem. These new speakers are like night and day compared to the old ones. At full volume they are still clear and crisp. More base than the originals as well. Worth every penny.
Pros: Great range of sound. Easy install.
Cons: Make sure to install speaker plumb so the cover is not crooked when it snaps on.
Need to replace speakers on my boat. The Alpine speakers arrived in 3 days, no problem in installation. The old holes didn't line up so I just used the new speakers as a template. Would be nice is Alpine include the screw holes on the diagram on the punch outs on the back of the box. So far, they sound great and were easy to install
Only site I found Alpine speakers & I needed replacement speakers fast. Got the speakers with free shipping within 3 days. Installation was quick and easy even for me.
Pros: Quick & Easy installation. Great sound at a reasonable price.
ease of installation and great sound
Pros: ease of installation and great sound
An awesome set of speakers I installed them in my 2009 RZR and they perform excellent, I also have them connected to a 400Watt Pioneer amp.
Pros: Easy to install.
Very good speakers. Good amount of bass for just running off the head unit. Also very clear at high volume I've had several other brands that would crackle and sounded horrible at levels I can play these at.
Pros: Very durable and water has yet to hurt them.
Cons: Comes with a silver cover so I painted mine white to match the boat.
I bought 4 of these for my speedster 200. The silver finish looks sharp installed. I replaced clarion speakers that the cones were gone. Hoping to get more longevity out of these. The sound is clear and am very impressed at how much i notice the difference. Great value
Cons: None yet. Hoping for a long life
Just replaced my MTX marine speaker with the new Alpine 6.5 and they are rocking my old MTX were only holding up for about 6 month and my 7.5 Alpine I have had installed for over two years still sound great so I have high hopes for the 6.5 I will let you know in about a year.
Pros: Arrived on time, Great service
they sound very good. i haven't had them long enough to rate durability but they seem well made. the last ones from west maring didn't last more than a couple of years.
Great speakers had to make a spot for them, but so glad I did
bought these speakers to replace the old blown out clarion speakers that originally came with my boat. the difference between the speakers is amazing, these speakers sound much cleaner and have a lot more bass.overall these speakers are great, they sound fantastic and have a good price
Pros: price, sound quality
I installed these in my 80 crestliner Apollo 660. The boat had nothing and had to install everything custom. I have them hooked up to my alpine deck that I have had since 06. Sound quality is great. I got to test them before I bought from my local dealer and was impressed for the $90 I was charged. All around good buy if u are looking for quality at a good price.
Pros: Sound, price, quality
Very good sounding speakers for the money.
Pros: To me they sound good and seemed to be well built.
I thought the sound quality of these speakers was not very good. I returned them and will be trying another set of speakers. Crutchfield has been great with the return.
installed in a glass bodied dune buggy. sound is good and clear even over a very loud engine
These speakers sound great for the price. I replaced the original Alpine speakers in my boat (which were not marine speakers) with these ones. Great clear crisp sound! Im also pushing some bass through a Bazooka bass tube that i mounted under the dash, Im jammin and turning heads all day on the river.
Pros: Great Price, Easy Install, Well Constructed sepakers! Quality sound from an Alpine product, as usual!
Cons: Nothing yet
I installed 4 of these in my Glastron bow rider to replace the stock 2 speaker (5") cassette stereo. I have them hooked to a Kenwood KMR-350U deck. I am very happy with the sound quality and volume these speakers put out. They are exactly what I was looking for. I can't wait to get back on the water and crank the tunes!
Pros: Great sound, great looks
Definitely worth the price! Replaced a set of old 5" 2-way speakers on my boat and the difference borders on amazing. Paired them with the Kenwood KMR-440U and the RMS wattage from the receiver seems well matched to these Alpines since they handle wide volume ranges with pretty accurate reproduction. In fact, with the bass boost on max and cranking some volume, the speakers really didn't distort as much as expected.
Pros: Great sound; nice appearance with the stock grilles
Cons: None (so far)
I am excited to hit the lake this summer with these speakers!!! Last year we did'nt have music. Make way for the party barge! Just finished installing a Clarion M109 HD and two of the Alpine MPS-M600 marine speakers. One speaker is mounted in front of the helm and the other on the starbord side, behind the captain's chair, mounted close to the floor of the back seat. So, with this setup, speakers six feet apart facing two directions,I was concerned on how it would sound. Not any more! WOW! I am more than pleased and the bass is awesome especially since I was not exspecting any. I have owend Alpine decks and really do like the sound they put out . This is the first time I've bought Apine speakers and love them. INCREDIBLE SPEAKERS!
Pros: very nice bass
I came on here and read all the reviews on these speakers before my purchase. I was very pleased to find out that they lived up to their reviews, great sound, and the clarity is awesome. I would recommend these speakers to anyone !! and you cant beat the price and customer service, when you call crutchfield you actually get someone who knows the products their selling. I also needed some cables so that I can hook my Iphone into my radio and play my music. All They needed was the serial # off the deck and they hooked me up.
Just replace 4 stock JBL speakers in my 2003 Chap 200ssi. These are excellent speakers and the install was very easy. I did all 4 on the water in about 20 minutes. Still using the JBL tuner so I am upgrading to an Alpine soon and I am sure they will sound even better. I research a lot of speakers and decided on the Alpine. These speakers sound so good I could not justify spending another $100 per pair. I would suggest these speakers to anyone who is interested in a major upgrade from stock that does not want to break the banks :)
Purchased these to replace 15 year old speakers in my fish/ski boat. For small 2-way speakers the sound quality is excellent. Very clear sound and the bass is adequate. Good build quality.
Sound great, could be a little better with base, but they are 6.5" so what else can I ask for. If you want to listen to music while you are running around the lake, you might want higher powered speakers. With engine noise etc... they get drowned out. It would take quite a system to sound good on the go, not sure I could handle all that.
Just installed these speakers in my 2008 Glastron GT225 to replace the (lame) factory speakers. No amplifier, just powered by the Alpine CDA-118M marine stereo I bought at Crutchfield and it sounds AWESOME. Dropped into the existing 5" cutouts, crimpled new terminals, drilled 4 new holes and was rocking in less than 2 hours. For fun I unstalled the port side speakers first, keeping the factory speakers in the starboard side. I switched the balance back and forth to hear the difference and oh my it will be a different summer on the boat. Highly recommended and the price is a bargain.
These speakers are great. Crisp and clear. Would recommend them to everybody.
These replaced two factory speakers that were blown. I was amazed how they sound with my cheap receiver. Normally the receiver is the most important piece of equipment for sound and clearity, but these speakers really made my system sound much better. I was amazed how clean and sharp these sound. The bass is there but not overburdened; they can go very loud if you want them to. I highly recommend these inexpensive speakers for better sound in your boat.
I purchased 2 pair to run with my Sony Marine CDX-M30 (52W X 4) and am very pleased with the clear and crisp sound. Bass is sharp but those who like a lot will want to add a sub-woofer. I would definitely recommend these speakers.
I added two Alpine speakers in the bow which is pushed by Sony CDX- M60UI. Adding the two speakers in the bow of my SeaRay 180 Sport is just "WOW"! I only had 2 speakers in the stern which gets drowned out when I am running the boat. Now, with the four speakers set up, I can hear my music. The bow of my boat acts like an enclosure and the bass on the Alpine really hits good especially for not running an amp. I was very amazed at the bass and treble from the speakers. This is a must buy!
I had 4 older model pioneer 6 1/2" 2 way speakers on my pontoon boat but two of them sounded terrible because they were blown and the other two I thought sounded pretty good..that is until I bought a pair of the Alpine SPS M600 6 1/2" two way coaxal spekers shown here. My remaining two good pioneer speakers sound terrible when compared to my Alpines so I'm buying another pair. These speakers are so powerful and have phenomenal sound quality. I don't even need an amp and I thought I would have to buy one. I'm buying two more because these are by far the best speakers I've ever purchased. You can't go wrong with these speakers... A++++
Easy to install. Replaced factory speakers on a Chaparral and sound much better that expected. I also have an Alpine 200watt amp driving these speakers.
