A 21st Century air filter
K&N conducted extensive research to find the right material for their filters. The secret? Several sheets of high-flow cotton gauze are sandwiched between two layers of aluminum wire mesh, then pleated and oiled to create a filter that offers increased air flow and excellent filtration. The K&N Air Filter is washable and reusable, so your engine will be protected as long as you own your vehicle. And the K&N filter will NOT void your new vehicle's warranty.
Clean it, don't toss it
Simply install your new K&N air filter in place of your factory air filter. In typical driving conditions, you'll have to clean your filter every 50,000 miles.You'll need K&N's Recharger Filter Care Service Kit (not included) which contains an 8-ounce bottle of oil and a 12-ounce bottle of filter cleaner. To clean, you soak the filter in the filter cleaner, clean with water, let dry, and then recharge the filter with the K&N oil, a special blend of mineral oils and polymers.
