Can't find your exact car?

The JIPDCBL12 interface cable lets you connect your iPod to select Jensen Heavy Duty receivers, so you can access your iPod with the receiver's controls. Just connect the 12-foot cable to your iPod, plug it into the receiver, and enjoy the convenience of searching by categories, along with control of useful functions like Play, Pause, Repeat, Random, Skip/Previous, and Fast Forward/Rewind. Warranty: 1 year.

Compatibility Note: Be sure to check "Details" for specific iPod model compatibility with this iPod adapter.

Why would I need an iPod® adapter?

An iPod adapter allows you to connect your iPod to your car stereo, then access your playlists with your stereo's controls - a great idea for several reasons. One, you can scroll through your song titles on your stereo's larger display, instead of squinting down at your iPod. Two, you can route the adapter cable to your glove compartment or center console, so your iPod stays safely out of sight. Three, the iPod adapter keeps your iPod fully charged, so it's ready to rock when you leave your car. And last of all, some adapters bypass your iPod's internal digital-to-analog converter, using your stereo's superior DAC to turn your files back into music.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This unit includes a substandard iPhone/iPad connector. The original failed with normal use and this one was cracked out of the box. I own at least three different cables which have this same connector. They are transported daily between home and the car and I have never encountered a failure. This unit sits permanently on the Chart table on my boat and failed under normal use. As it is an OEM part with no other options I guess I'll tape this one up and use it.
