Flip-Down Overhead Monitor: The Soundstream VCM-103DMH overhead monitor features a drop-down 10.3" LCD  monitor with an integrated DVD player. It can be used as a stand-alone display with included IR wireless headphones, or can be integrated into your vehicle's audio system using its RCA outputs or built-in FM transmitter. The unit also features two audio/video inputs so you can connect optional external audio/video sources to the VCM-103DMH. The Soundstream overhead monitor includes an IR wireless remote control for added convenience.

10.3" LCD Monitor: The Soundstream VCM-103DMH features a flip-down 10.3" widescreen LCD high-resolution monitor with LED backlight technology. The 10.3" widescreen monitor has a resolution of 1,024 x 600. You can select either a 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio for each monitor. You can also adjust picture mode, color temperature, and noise reduction.

Built-in DVD Player: The Soundstream VCM-103DMH overhead monitor features an automotive-spec DVD transport for playback of DVD-Video, DVD-R/RW, CD-Audio, and CD-R/RW discs. The built-in DVD player supports MP3/WAV audio codecs and MP4/AVI/DivX video codecs (up to 1080p). The player offers a Parental Control function to prevent playback of discs that are inappropriate for children.

Dual AV Inputs: The Soundstream VCM-103DMH is equipped with dual AV inputs which will accept NTSC and PAL. The VCM-103DMH is fitted with a two composite video/stereo RCA inputs. These AV inputs allow you to connect your portable MP3 player, DVD player, and/or game console.

HDMI & USB Port (MHL compatible): The Soundstream VCM-103DMH is equipped with a full-size HDMI input on the side-panel for connection of your mobile DVD player, Blu-ray player, or game console. The HDMI input can also be used in conjunction with the side-panel USB port to allow you to connect your Android smartphone, Galaxy S3, iPhone 4/4S, or iPhone 5 using one of Soundstream's MHL-to-HDMI cables (sold separately). The HDMI input will support up to 1080p video and 2ch PCM. By itself, the USB port supports connection of USB mass storage class devices (such as a thumbdrive up to 32GB) for MP3 audio, MP4 video, and JPEG photo playback.

SD-Card Slot: The overhead monitor is also fitted with a side-panel SD-card slot for MP3 audio, MP4 video, and JPEG photo playback from a SD or SDHC memory card (up to 32GB).

Headphone Output: The VCM-103DMH overhead monitor gives you two options for connecting a set of headphones so you can privately listen to your connected AV sources in the backset of your vehicle. The VCM-103DMH features a built-in IR transmitter for listening through a pair of IR headphones (530VHP12, sold separately). The VCM-103DMH is also fitted with a front-panel 3.5mm headphone jack for a hardwired headphone connection.

Audio Output: The VCM-103DMH features a built-in FM transmitter (87.7-89.1 mHz) to output sound to your car audio system through the car stereo's FM radio. The overhead monitor is also equipped with a set of stereo RCA outputs to connect to the Aux input on your car stereo (audio cable not included; RCA-to-minijack adapter may be required). The overhead monitor does not offer built-in speakers.

Remote Control: In addition to the unit's front-panel controls, the VCM-103DMH comes supplied with a full function IR remote control for wireless operation of the overhead monitor.

OSD (On-Screen Display): The unit's OSD contains features and options that let you customize your system to change audio and video settings.

• Aspect Ratio: You can select to display either a 16:9 or 4:3 screen image.
• Picture Control: Select from 3 preset picture modes (Mild, User, or Dynamic). The User mode lets you adjusts the LCD monitor's brightness, contrast, hut, and saturation. You can also adjust Color Temperature and activate Noise Reduction.
• Audio Adjustments: You can choose from 4 preset audio modes (Music, Movie, Sports, or User). The User mode activates an adjustable 5-band EQ (120Hz/500Hz/1.5kHz/5kHz/10kHz). You can also active a Surround mode for simulated surround sound in your vehicle.

Dual LED Dome Lights: On-board dual LED lights can be used as dome lights if the unit is installed in the factory dome light locations. A trigger sensor can activate the lights when the vehicle's doors are opened.

Mounting: The flip-down overhead monitor mounts to the roof of your vehicle with the supplied metal mounting bracket and supplied hardware. The VCM-103DMH features a black plastic frame and comes supplied with interchangeable, snap-on Pewter and Shale plastic frames to match your vehicle's interior.

Interchangeable Color Skins: The unit comes with 3 sets of interchangeable snap-on color skins to match your vehicle's interior. Choose from beige, grey, or black.
