Can't find your exact car?

Just because you've got a factory radio in your car, doesn't mean you have to leave your iPod at home, along with the hours and hours of music you've loaded onto it. Just install iSimple's iPod adapter — it not only allows you to listen to all your favorite tunes through your car's speakers, it even lets you control song and playlist selections right from your radio.

You'll keep the use of your satellite radio, plus get a handy auxiliary input for connecting an MP3 player, game, or other source. You can also use this adapter to get SIRIUS Satellite radio with the help of a SIRIUS tuner.

Note: Your Subaru radio must have a "SAT" button to work with this adapter. Factory radio must not be an AM/FM/6-disc in-dash changer. Be sure to check the "Details" tab to make sure this interface will work with your iPod.

Product Highlights:

  • control your iPod with the factory radio in select satellite-ready Subaru models
  • auxiliary input for additional sources
  • iPod can also be controlled directly, giving you access to all your playlists
  • warranty: 1 year

2008 Subaru Legacy
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Just plug and play. I searched everywhere and this is just what I needed

Pros: Easy to hook up

Cons: None

Works reasonably well in 2007 Outback!

2008 Subaru Outback
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Even though the description of this device says it will work with 2008 on up, I decided to take the risk and try it in my 2007 outback. The standard radio in the 2007 outback is the same as the 2008 and has the satellite button and input on the back.

Pros: I am very pleased this unit works OK with the 2007. Clean installation without hacking my dashboard. I prefer the big knobs and easy to use buttons on the stock radio over the aftermarket radios.

Cons: It is slow to respond sometimes The text is truncated at maybe 20 characters. The information is not scrolled. Selecting playlists is cumbersome. I just do it on the device.

Now have ordered the HDRT so I can enjoy HD radio.

2011 Subaru Outback
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Good kit. Instructions could have been a little better, had to call customer support a
couple of times, but they were very helpful and I got it all figured out. Everything works as
it should.
