While many newer vehicles include an auxiliary input, many current and older vehicles do not offer this feature. Here's where the iSimple PXDX comes in. Using a vehicle-specific adapter from iSimple (not included), you connect the iSimple PXDX to the CD changer port on the back of your factory stereo. Once you reinstall the stock radio, you've now got an auxiliary input for your portable music player, DVD player, tablet, cell phone, or even a "Dock and Play" satellite radio.
A choice in connections
The package includes RCA inputs and stereo mini-jack cable connections, allowing you to connect just about any type of device. You'll enjoy better sound quality than offered by an FM modulator or most other options. Warranty: 1 year
Note: If you haven't already, please enter your vehicle information or call an Advisor at 1-888-955-6000 to find out if this adapter is compatible with your vehicle and which additional cables are needed.
Installation Note: This adapter uses the changer port on your factory radio, so you won't be able to use your factory CD changer or satellite radio tuner once the adapter's installed. It will not work in vehicles with built-in 6-disc changers.

Factory Radio Compatibility: The iSimple PXDX Auxiliary Input interface integrates an auxiliary audio source directly into the factory radio of select vehicles, using a vehicle specific cable (sold separately). Your vehicle must be equipped with or have the ability to support an external CD changer. The iSimple PXDX provides either female stereo RCA jacks or a 6' stereo minijack cable.- Not compatible with radios that have a built-in 6 disc changer.
- Not compatible with any factory external audio source such as XM tuner, CD changer, or Cassette player. These devices must be disconnected and will no longer function.
Note: The interface module's eight dip switches must be configured based on your model, make, and year vehicle. Please consult the Crutchfield Car Selector to see if your vehicle and factory radio is compatible.

I stream Pandora from my phone through my car audio. Phone calls come through car speakers crystal clear. I only wish that the PXDX had a mic input and Bluetooth with the same wired hookup to the system. Bluetooth in lieu of transit hf. That would make the PXDX hands down perfect!
